Tonight is the last night we get to spend with Rex and Reva. We'll be delivering them to their new home tomorrow morning.
They've had their dinner and play session and have snuggled in together around my neck. It's hard to type while wearing this kitten scarf, but I'm not moving them for the world.
Rex is asleep with his nose just an inch from my ear. I've listened to him shift from short breaths and whistley snores to deeper breaths and low, rumbly snores. Reva is a little restless, but she's purring loudly. On occasion, she squeaks and shuffles and burrows back in.
I am savoring every second remaining in our time with this precious pair.
