I have been waiting on nerdy little pins and needles all day, just to hear whether or not they'd been adopted out.
Now I'm not sure if I'm sad that they didn't, or happy that we'll still see them a little longer.
My husband said "How could anybody not adopt them? They're so cute!" Was his bow tie crooked? No matter--I'm sure you'll find them the best possible home at the right time.
This just means that the perfect humans for these babies haven't appeared yet! If I didn't live so far away and have maximum cat capacity (both adopted) at my apartment, I'd come get them both.
Thank you for keeping us posted and being a guardian angel for these little beautiful critters.
I know it's a roller coaster ride for you, but I also will bet that you had takers who just couldn't live up to your standards and I'm so proud of you!
I will say that I have mixed feelings about the news-- sad that they haven't found their new perfect home yet, but relieved that we'll still see some more of these precious little ones here. I sure wish I weren't halfway across the country-- I'd love to adopt these adorable kitties!
Also, I wanted to mention that your photos are just beautiful, and it makes me happy to see them on your blog.
maddie looks especially snorgle-able in this picture. i love how they're looking over their shoulders! my bet is that you didn't find anyone good enough to give them up! i don't blame you.
Me too, me too....so sad that People of the Right Sort didn't find them, so PROUD of you that you have high standards (so delighted for US that we may get a few more pictures). Do you realize the crush of people you'd have there at your door if all of us....worldwide....could get there??? Please give them extra love for me and for everyone else...(it'll take you about a week)
That Maddie is a heart breaker! Just look at that delicious chin! It must be snorgled!
I am sorry that their perfect parents didn't find their way to you yet. Don't worry, though, with cuties as sweet as that...well...who wouldn't want to adopt them?

That just means another few days with the kitties! I hope they find loving homes soon.

ReplyDeleteI got to meet them today and they are SUPERB wee ones! Thank you for sharing them for a few hours with us :O)
ReplyDeleteCornelius,
ReplyDeletePlease post more pictures in your bow tie!
Aww, who could resist them?? At least you (and the rest of us) get to spend just a little more time with them.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I love this blog. I read it at least once a day, ever since I saw the Willamena picture on cuteoverload.
BTW- I love this pic... it almost looks like an engagement picture for the two of them.
