Hello, My Name is Fergus
This darling little boy-kitty is named Fergus. He's easy to pick out in the pack because he has a little more brown on his face and in his coat than his similar siblings do. Fergus was named after a sweet little boy we met on our trip to Australia.
Fergus says "hello" and he's very excited to meet all of you. He's a little embarrassed because he has food on his chin in the pictures. He hasn't mastered the solid food yet, although he's trying very hard.

That must be Fergus as in the down under FURguses? It's so exciting to be meeting them singly by name. This is going to be really challenging since there is such a strong family resemblance. SO sweet!
ReplyDeleteAwww. (Wipes chin)
ReplyDeletehello dearheart Fergus!
ReplyDeleteOh Fergus. What a heartbreaker you are.
ReplyDeleteI want to take him home!!! Love the blue eyes
ReplyDeleteI happened to stumbled upon your blog just recently and have fell in love with the idea - and of course subscribed as a result - your fostering efforts are very inspirational. I have always thought about fostering animals (as I own too many to adopt more) but always worried about how it would effect my already emotionally sensitive cats to have strange kittens come in and out of their life. Have you experienced issues with your permanent cats and the little ones you foster?
ReplyDeleteaaaaahhh! there has been so much squealing in my house this weekend on account of your site, i can't even tell you.
ReplyDeletei suspect my own kitties are getting a bit jealous.
"Fergus", check. Just think - somewhere there's a home getting ready to fall in love with him; some people 9who may not even know it yet) who are making snuggly little corners for him, who are preparing their laps for him...isn't that exciting? (And oh how lucky WE are to get to admire him now!)
ReplyDeleteHello Fergus, you are furry cute!
ReplyDeleteAwwww, what a little cutie. My youngest cat's name is Fergus. I remember when he was just little kitten, crying on my patio until I opened the door and he adopted me.
ReplyDeleteIt's a good thing you guys live too far away from me or I would have more cats than I could handle.
Awww, hi Fergus! *pets*
ReplyDeleteI'm seriously wishing I could see the pictures, now. Is Fergus the teeny tiny one, or one of the others? I'm a sucker for all kittens, but especially the teeniest ones. I admit it. :)
HELLO sweet fuzz ball Fergus.
ReplyDeleteFood on the chin is just a mark of enthusiasm. Do you have lots?
[[sigh...............]]
Welcome to the IBKC Fergus!!!!
ReplyDeleteAwww...Fergus, it's a pleasure to meet you :) Such a cutie...and such a lucky boy to be part of the IBKC!
ReplyDeleteAwwww, we don't mind the the food sweetie, you're such a cutie pie even with a messy chin.. bless
ReplyDeleteAw, Fergus... what a precious little bundle of fur you are! I'm so looking forward to watching you grow!
ReplyDeleteHello, Fergus, it's so good to meet you! No need to be embarassed about the food on your chin, some of us just enjoy our food as a more full-body tactile experience than others.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that Charlene Butterbean will help you with any grooming you need, as well as Laurie and Craig.
You're adorable!
SuzyQ, you really never know how they'll react until you try. one of our cats adores the babies, the other doesn't care much for them and just ignores them. we've never experienced any real issues. i think when the kittens are so tiny, they pose no threat to the others.
ReplyDeleteif you do decide to foster, i woud suggest just being sensitive to your permanent residents and ease the babies into their lives. It helps if you have a room to tuck the kittens into.
Ann F,, and so will Kim.. their other foster mother.
He is a good boy, eating all his food! Get big and strong, Fergus!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like he has butterfly wings on his head.
