The polls are are closed, the results are in... and eighty two percent of the voters guessed wrong. The eighteen percent you who voted for Clementine, please pat yourselves on your back. You are correct!
YES! Porter and Clemetine are getting adopted together. Isn't that wonderful? We prefer sending them out in pairs whenever we can, so of course we were thrilled they are going together. Clementine has made weight and will be going in for surgery next week. Porter still isn't there, but we have been trying hard to fatten up the little Porkchop. Pack on those pounds, I mean ounces, Porter! Grow kitten, Grow!
Porter & Clemmie - so happy together! That's wonderful news!
ReplyDeleteSending weight-gain thoughts to Mr. Porter Pork Pie!
I knew it had to be Auggie or Clemmy. I just have so much trouble telling those gray kitties apart. I'm betting Porter will grow up to be a tank! Grow kitty, grow!
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfectly sweet couple they will make. Clementine is a darling. Now, young Mr Porter always has a slightly puzzled and thoughtful look about him in his pictures, so I think he's giving weight gain some careful thought. Come on Porter, you can do it!
ReplyDeleteI'm a happy girl! Well, as happy a girl as I can be without my Precious Porter Pot Pie piled up on a pillow made of me.
ReplyDeleteSuch lucky peeps to have that pair and here's hoping they will keep us posted. BTW let's see some growing up photos from the parents of the last batch!
Yay! I got it right! As for fattening up....TREATS! that'll fatten 'em up. I like rotund kitties.
ReplyDeleteawww, glad they are going together! :)
ReplyDeleteI was RIGHT!

I guessed wrong, but it makes me so happy that two furbabies are going home!!! Grow, baby, grow indeed...
ReplyDeleteAnd they are going to a wonderful, wonderful home where they will receive much love!

Yay for kitties, forever homes, and foster families extraordinaire!!!
ReplyDeleteEep! I go away for a few days and kittens start getting forever homes! Yay kittens! And what a pair; serious little Porter and brave darling Clementine. Purrfect!
ReplyDeleteIt is always best to have two kittens and a brother sister pair are the best.
ReplyDeleteHarper and Ramona would agree. And so would we.
I keep looking at these two and seeing that they both have sleepy eyes, different from the other Mayfields. I know they both see a loving future for themselves through those sweet eyes. Beatrix and Potter say having a brother or sister along for the life-ride is purrfect. (I voted that it was a Holstein though).
ReplyDeletewhat a DREAM - being TOLD to gain weight? My goodness....I'm absolutely delighted for both of them (but more, of course, for those new folks whose lives are about to be improved forever!
