Let's start with the smallest of the Pickett clan, darling little Ruth-Anne. She's itty bitty for sure, but a very determined little girl. You've got to watch her closely, she likes to escape from their cozy little basket. She'll go as fast and as far as her little legs will allow.
She prefers her full name , Ruth Anne, because it sounds more grown-up, but you call her Ruthie if you like.
RUTH ANNE! Oh, IBKC, you've done it again! It's just the right name for that teensie Pickett girl. Happy Saturday to Ruth Anne, Beulah Mae, and the four-to-go.
ReplyDeleteTo describe her is neigh on to impossible, but here's a try: She's mostly black, but I think she's the calico. She has small splotches of creamy white around her mouth and, best of all, the outside edges of the tips of her, still round and low ears are outlined in the creamy white. Out of this world is Ruth Anne.
ReplyDeleteAwww. she's so adorable! I love that bit of white over her eye! And her earses! *smushes Ruth Anne in the good way*
ReplyDeletePerfect name for little cutie pie. With your demanding job and long hours how do you ever find time to capture the world's greatest pictures. It takes me hours just to get one good picture of my kitties.
ReplyDeleteOh, she's adorable and what a perfect name!
ReplyDeleteShe'd fit almost perfectly in one's hand.
There's a lot of white on her chest and a few dots on her mostly-black face, which means that this photo, which shows mostly her face, makes it look like she was using her Kitty Inspection License to examine black ink, and ended up exploring it a bit too closely.
Her expression is that of a Very Determined Itty Bitty Kitty, especially because her mouth is set in a tiny little pout.
ARGH! It's a good thing I live very very far away or I'd want to take home every itty bitty kitty you have! They are ALL so adorable! I'm sure my current no longer itty bitty kitty and my two dogs wouldn't be very happy about a house full of more kitties... lol!
ReplyDeleteOMG! [[thud]] *staggers back for another look* [[thud]]
ReplyDeleteRuth Anne! She is an amazing IBK! Go little Ruth Anne, go explore the wonderful world beyond your basket, but mind your Momma Beulah, too!
She is exquisite! Her markings are so unique - she's got determined written all over her little face. Snorgles!
Mama and babies are adorable. And this tiny girl? She is something else. I miss having little kitties around. All mine are grown. So I love your blog.
ReplyDelete*le sigh*
ReplyDeleteplease let me say again that i really admire and appreciate the work you are doing to help these critters.
I love you, Ruth Anne!
ReplyDeleteHello, Little Ruthie.. I mean, Ruth Anne! Of course we think you're all growed up. Very mature!
ReplyDeleteI love the expression on her face. "But I have exploring to do!"
Can't say enough wonderful things about the IBKC. It warms my heart to lurk around your blog for news of your little furry crew.
Awww, hi tiny black and white maybe calico? Ruth Anne kitten. She sounds like a darling!
ReplyDeleteI see the set of that teensy mouth; Ruth Anne is going to be a very spunky young lady. Do you suppose they all feel the waves of love coming at them from all of the world? 'Cause I am SO loving on her........
ReplyDeleteHello Ruth-Anne! Welcome to the world - yours to explore. You remind me of one of my kitties who is a tuxedo torti - mostly torti but white chest, paws, and dabs of white around the face. (The other is a full torti- no white). I know you will have a family who will love you as much as we do our kitties!
ReplyDeleteGreetings from another admirer, Miss Ruth Anne.
ReplyDeleteYou appear to be an intrepid explorer, do you give reports on your findings to you Momma and litter mates?
Ruth Anne. Of course she is. You IBKC members have the best naming mojo.
ReplyDeleteRuth Anne's come so far since our introduction to her just over a week ago. From that squalling, squirming newborn in her first photo, through yesterday's itty bitty punctuation accident (I love that phrase), to today's determined little chin.
I'm noticing something else about the itty bitties from these photos. At this young age their eyes seem to be rounder rather than the elongated (cat's eye?) shape they eventually attain. But still full of personality, no matter what their shape.
Hi Little Ruth Anne, you are gorgeous and it's very nice to meet you :)
ReplyDeleteI can't visit here to often becase just seeing the itty bitty kitties makes me desire one or two or twenty! Hubby is even worse...
ReplyDeleteHello little bitty Ruth Anne!
ReplyDeleteYou have an auspicious name, sweetie... My mother-in-law's name was Ruth Anne, too!
She was creative, fun and funny, energetic, kind and loving! And I am absolutely sure you will follow in her footsteps!
Hugs,
Lisa
Oh my goodness! She sure is a sweetie!!!!!
