You guys just keep getting better and better! Twyla appears to be a very leggy little girl. I adored the Mayfields, still do, but I must say it's wonderful to have a bitty batch that's relatively easy to tell one from the other. I am in love all over again.
Hello to you Miss Twyla. I love the way your nose scrunches up when you meow, as you're doing in this picture. Mouth wide open so we see your pink tongue. You look like you're telling us something. Something important. Oh, it's mealtime?
Twyla's face is almost entirely grey, but with a white streak almost exactly down the middle that extends towards the side of her face as it goes down. Most of her nose is pink but there's a little dab of grey on it.
Some very lucky person is holding her and Twyla, little pink mouth WIDE open, is obviously saying, "Hello, big world, I'm going to conquer you!" Her mouth, by the way, exceeds all established permissible levels of pinkness.
We can see one leg dangling down and it's so long in proportion to the rest of her that I'm sure modeling agencies are on the phone right now. (That is, if models are allowed to have that much hair on their legs.) She has a tiny white mitten on that leg and her other visible paw.
You know, Laurie? I bet very few people change the names you give kittens. I'm SO tempted to just up and move to Seattle because I want someone name of Twyla Pickett to live in MY house (the parti-colored face has something to do with it too, I cannot deny it)
Hey, Dale Harriet! I'm going to beat you to Seattle so I can have that girl. Or maybe we can share in our dreams. Or maybe I'll change my own name to Twyla in hopes of being one tenth as appealing as she is. Whatever works.
Teeny Twyla! She's adorable with her little half-in-half markings! Snorgles all over for this little Pickett!

ReplyDeleteHello precious Twyla!
ReplyDeleteAre you going to grow up to be a model? Auntie Anne was right about those long limbs... and they photograph just as well as your striking face!
Welcome, little one!
Lisa
Awww, what a little bundle of kittenness!

Hi there, little one!
ReplyDeleteI think you're never going to have a problem telling people what you think! You and your sister are going to be heartbreakers, I think!
She's like the Harry Potter of the Picketts! Look at that fierce forehead stripe.
ReplyDeleteAwww. Hi teeny tiny extra-toed Twyla! What a darling little grey thing. She sounds adorable!
ReplyDeleteTwyla's a tortie with extra toes and mittents! She's the perfect kitten!
