We had the Merriweathers spend the day with us two whole days in a row. The first day some were still a bit timid around Charlene, but when they returned the second day, they were so happy to see their friend. I love Jeffy's excited little tail sticking straight up.
Oh my! Charlene is the purrfect hostess! It would appear she is giving Jeffy a little kiss - pure sweetness!
ReplyDeletewahhooo...Charlene, Jeffy and Mitchell altogether..The puurrfect group coz they're my favourite..Charlene is such a darling and am sure the tiny boys must adore her too - so lovely to see them again -- Jeanne
ReplyDeleteMore Jeffy! I can't get enough leetle tailio/white chest/striped suit/enormous eyes.
ReplyDeleteHow is Beulah doing? Does she miss her kittens when they are away?
ReplyDeleteRhiannon - Beulah's babes, The Picketts, are always with her. This batch, The Merriweathers, are orpahns being fostered by our friend, Sue.
ReplyDeleteCharlene is such a lovely dovey,. Will she ever get to keep a kitty for her very own????
ReplyDeleteAwww, that little tabby tail sticking straight up in the air! That's the best "hello" ever!
ReplyDeleteCharlene is such a darling. Looks like little Mitchell is going in for another cleaning session!
I think Charlene's deal is a great one! Have them while they're itty bitty, wash the heck out of them, teach them a few manners, and send them on their way. Take a little break, and start all over with the next batch. If it weren't for Drewey, and for Charlene seeing herself in the mirror, she'd probably think all kitties are itty bitty and are a maximum birth-to-6+weeks size.
ReplyDeletebecca - probably not,, we have a two cat max here. ( craig's rule, not mine).
ReplyDeleteGood googley moogely! That tail! I bet if you tried to push Jeffy's tail down it would BOING back in place - sticking straight up.
ReplyDeleteWhy is it that my favorite pictures always involve Charlene? Why am I even asking that question? I'm such a fan of hers. There is such a good spirit about her that can even be seen in the pictures.
Notice Mitchell's staying just out of paw's-reach? He remembers last time.
ReplyDeleteLOL, rathia! And anne b! Good thing Charlene has a perspective keeper! 0-12 weeks is just the most precious time.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm... Wonder how super-nanny Charlene would deal with the difficult "teenage" months (4-12)?
*sigh* I miss sproingy kitten tails... they do say, "Hi! I'm so excited to see you!"
