I never really noticed this before, but check out the little stripey spot on Ruth Anne's arm ( in the big circle). It's like she wore a little hole in her elbow and it was patched with a different, furry fabric.
Also, take note of her extra toe ( in the small circle).
Oh my gosh how much do I love that it's a little orange patch.
ReplyDeleteShe's a patchwork kitty!
ReplyDeleteHer superhero outfit is showing through her mild-mannered disguise!
ReplyDeleteHas she been getting into Crayons?? :) I know kittens can be like little kids, maybe she snuck them when you weren't watching!!
ReplyDeleteSoooo cuuuute!!!
ReplyDeleteOne of my kitties also has an orange patch on her belly and I love it. BTW, anybody from Madrid, Spain wants the most adorable adult cat ever? I found him on the street and brought him home, but my cats are making his life a living hell =(
Ooooh, she's just too, too adorable!
ReplyDeleteThat little patch is too perfect! And too funny.
ReplyDeleteThere's a little tiger in sweet Ruth Anne!
ReplyDeleteShe is too darned adorable for words!
*swoon*
She is dangerously precious.
ReplyDeleteAwww.. makes you just wanna kiss her little arm, right?
ReplyDeleteThey say human babies are especially contented and happy if they sleep with their little paws up...same thing must be true of kitty babies! I like diana's theory that her superhero outfit is showing through.......
ReplyDelete..and there's me thinking that little Ruth Ann was a tuxedo cat when she's got the secret calico gene thing going on! These itty bittys are full of woinderful surprises!
ReplyDeleteChanter, Ruth Ann is lying in a comma shape, sprawled on her side. Both her front paws are up next to her head, in the classic "I surrender" pose. Her paw pads are a mix of baby pink and dark brown. Her back legs are stretched out and up and her little wisp of a tail is carefully covering one leg. She has that particularly cat-like air of being so deeply asleep that a brass band marching through the room wouldn't even cause an ear twitch.
ReplyDeleteThat is about the cutest thing I've ever seen
ReplyDeleteCan you mail her to Texas for me??
OMG, that is just too cute! Do you think Ruth Anne will get more secret stripes as her arm grows longer?
ReplyDeleteI bet diana's right, that Ruth Anne's an itty bitty superhero-in-training. Looks like they need lots of naps, eh?
I kinda looks like those elbow patches that are on those tweed blazers.
ReplyDeleteHow cute a surprise is that?
Oooh, someone is gonna have fun keeping that tiny toe claw trimmed!
My Toes has a claw like that on each front paw. It can be a challenge, but the cats with poly-paws are a hoot to watch as they explore what they can do!
hmmmm let me get this straight - a tortie-tuxedo petite polydactal kitty? Yup. My most favorite of all! -- Ruth Anne reminds me so much of my precious kitten, who sends purrs to her, the other Picketts and the IBKC!
ReplyDeleteLook at how sweet she is! Love that spot!
