  1. I believe that my earlier request (some weeks ago) may have been lost in cyberspace as I have not yet received the package containing Twyla. She is almost more wonderfully beautiful than my Potter and Beatrix as well as my two daughters. I'm waiting!

  2. Oh my LORD.

Look at this little beauty! She has such poise and such grace.

  3. I believe, though, you've found the boundary of her patience -- she's clearly saying "ARE YOU DONE YET???" in that last picture...oh, and Anne B? May I come visit her? Maybe...oh, I dunno...maybe co-parent, mayhap?

  4. She is absolutely beautiful - a stunner! Yes, dilute torties do rock! I love that she has such wonderful expressions...
But I agree with Dale-Harriet - it looks like you found the outer limits of her patience, Laurie!

  5. She does come across as spunky and with a bit of a tude. But I've known torties (mine is part tortie and all crazy) to be like that! LOL too precious!

  9. Oh, sweet Twyla, you are as sweet as your name! I wonder if anyone would notice if she goes missing during her next visit to the shelter. Guilty as charged!

YAY for big kitty Hero ~ she did indeed get adopted over the weekend! And more YAYs for biggies PayDay, Lela and Dorian who all found their new forever homes!

  10. Dearest Twyla,
You are so lovely, reminding me of a young Princess Grace. Elegant and classy are two words that describe your countenance.

  11. What a beautiful Twyla. These pictures show such a personality!

Horray for Hero being adopted! Torti (3 year old Calico girl) was adopted from PM this weekend along with 2 kittens.

  12. Yes, D-H, the minute she arrives you must hurry here with your two girls. I thought Porter had done me in, but this girl just knocks my socks off. To all who talk of dilute torties (we call them pastel torties), and my Beatrix is one, the word on the street is that they are a tad nuts (but in a good way).

  15. I cannot believe how much presence this sweetie has!

And definitely she overflows with the Tortie 'tude in the last shot!

I get a faceful of the 'tude nearly EVERY morning as I dare to sleep to 8am or so each morning, or sit at the computer before the AM feeding....

Twyla definitely looks like she can hold a thought MUCH longer than my Marbles does. I adopted her from MEOW as a grown kitty - I LOVE kittens to watch and play with, but the adults are much more my speed....and just as sweet.

Hurray for the older kitties too!

  17. She has such an amazingly expressive face! I have a feeling her forever parents are never going to have to figure out what she wants. That face will make her wishes known!
