SIX! And what a mix of every kind of beauty known! I think I can't even breathe very well because of all this. Virgil, of course I fall for you because my fabulous Potter is a flame point too. But Virgil is more round and very slightly fluffy. Huge round pale blue eyes, not a bit cross eyed either, and that creamy coat with the beginning hints of flame. He's built like his brothers. Except for Renatta, these are sturdy looking kitties for sure. But SIX?! Dear Gussie!
Chanter, he's a very creamy looking fellow, and the top of his nosey is a little bit brown; even though you're seeing the front of his ears, you can kind of tell that they might be a bit ruddy-brown too! His little toes are a tiny bit darker than his creamy coat, and over his right shoulder looks a little darker - is it shadow, or is it more color? Looking at his fur you just know it's more than kitten-soft, and you just want to nuzzle! He's sitting up (a tad slouchy, though) and looking at the camera with polite interest, gorgeous blue eyes and tiny white whiskers just capture you right away.
Yes, I'll give you my credit card number, and my social security number! Do you need my ATM pin too, Mr. Pettibone? It wouldn't be a problem at all!
But seriously though, the past IBKs have always been adorable and the photography really makes them into little stars. We love Twyla for her Kitten-next-door look (plus the Pickett pout). But these Pettibones? Holy smokes, they're a gorgeous bunch.
Laurie, pleeassseee, tell us their story... I don't think I'm the only one out here in IBKC fanland about ready to explode with anticipation. It seems very Lovell-like of you, somehow, to be toying with us like this :-)
How many gorgeous babies came in this batch? Three girls and three boys, that's a good balance. What's missing here ... maybe a tabby or a tuxedo? How about a luxuriously soft grey?
Just when I think I can't stand anymore, here you come with another totally mind blowing adorable baby! This latest batch is something else! I have to stop now and get the drool off my keyboard.
Wow. He looks just like my Max must've looked as a kitten. If he's anything like other flamepoints I've had, he'll be even more a looker as he grows up.
Oh, I AM IN LOVE with all the Pettibones! I'm related, too, since one of my earliest immigrant ancestors was a Pettibone :) But oh my, oh my. Mr. Virgil... I am *always* a sucker for baby blues and a flamish nose... I am lost, just lost! :) Multiple snorgles and hugs & scritchies!!!
Hey Everybody! Go back and scroll through the Pettibone's pictures and see if you think they each have an itty bitty tuft in the center of their heads. It's hard to see if Rosalie has one, but I see it on all the others now that I've noticed it on Virgil. Or maybe it's just an hallucination from gazing too long at Virgil this morning.
oh my....what a great surprise to see all those lovely beauty kitties...they are all sooooo handsome and cute and beautiful and ...and.. cannot find words to describe... Laurie, you are really killing us with all those pretty cute faces.. - Jeanne
OK, let's see....could it be the air? Isn't there fresh sea air in that place? The water, maybe? Or just a huge abundance of Love for Felines...can it be coincidence that every single kitty who comes to IBKC is such a precious example of the daughters and sons of Bast? (Of course, Laurie's lens is polished with the soft fabric of her own - and our - cherishing of the wee fuzzy babies.) And you've done it again, "Pettibone". I'd like to see a picture of Virgil sitting on an old beat-up copy of "The Iliad" or something.... (I can wait for the story of the Pettibones, I'm patient.) (NO I'M NOT!! tell us, tell us!)
Aaack! Virgil is to die for!
ReplyDelete::kur-thunk::
Oh my sweet mercy. Does the gorgeousness of the Pettibones know no bounds? Obviously, not.
ReplyDeleteWhat a crew!

ReplyDeleteI am breathless with joy to see the Pettibones....but are there more??? We will have to see on the same cat-channel at another cat-time, i guess.
Laurie, HOW do you get anything done for all the human to feline adoration you must be struggling with! Hats off!
Oh, my goodness! Virgil, I am yours...whatever you tell me with those eyes...kibble, toys, catnip.
ReplyDeleteARGH! How can you do this to us, Laurie? I dont' think I can concentrate the rest of the day now!
The Pettibones will be a wonderful journey. Looking forward to seeing them all!
Virgil Hugs, Robin

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh... Those are blue eyes indeed! I've never seen anything like it. I wonder how they'll turn out once he gets bigger...

Are you sure it's a kitten? Because I think Virgil is a cake. Little furry cake.
ReplyDeleteThis batch of babies might be the cutest litter ever! Does the adorability ever stop? Thanks, Laurie, for sharing them with us!

Seriously, such variety in this family! That's quite unique.
ReplyDeleteI would get NO work done if all those gorgeous babies lived in my house. Non stop snuggling for sure!
ReplyDeleteOh, my, all kittens are beautiful, but the mysterious (hint, hint, Laurie) Pettibones are even more beautiful than usual.
ReplyDeleteI want to get on the floor with them for a cuddling and playing orgy.
This batch is gorgeous. Wonderful healthy coats!

You got us Laurie! Just when I thought this batch couldn't get any cuter you introduce another Pettibone!
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting mix this litter is, they must be keeping you busy. Do you guys know or have a guess as to how old they are?
Hi young Virgil, you look like a very confident young fella.
