Oh absolutely. It's not easy having to sleep and play all day. My two kittens, Mrs. Peel and Purdey completely understand Alvie. They wanted me to let him know that.
Oh, I do love those Pettibones. I can't believe Alvie is still available. His rightful family must be on vacation, or something. Best to wait and decorate the IBKC headquarters a little longer and let everything go as it should. When the right home finds it lacks him, they'll come running.
Well, he MUST be exhausted from all that incredible purring he produced for those audio examples he and Laurie made the other day! He deserves his rest, and we absolutely deserve to watch him do that. Don't we, guys?!
Awww. Poor little mite. All tuckered out from being so cute. It takes a lot of calories to be that cute. I mean, why else do kittens sleep 20 hours a day?
If humans slept 20 hours a day, would they be as cute as kittens?
Oh, the preciousness of this Pettibone boy! I just love the look of Alvie draped on the back of the couch. It's times like this that make me think kittens have no bones, they're so supple and relaxed.
Oh, I'm with you, Anne B! I'm impressed that a kitty that young has already attained that level of Napness! That's a clear example of Olympic-gold-medal-level sleeping. (Hmm...there SHOULD be a Feline Olympics! Purring...sleeping, cuteness....)
Plus there's Synchronized Snoozing, something the IBKC are very good at.
Chanter, these photos show Alvie showing off his credentials to join the Hard Life Club, the organization that certifies household pets as truly bearing the burdens of existence in doting households.
They're all variations on the theme of Alvie draping bonelessly on top of a very soft and fuzzy blanket. He's all stretched out and has his paws folded near or over his face in all three photographs.
His fur is so thick that you can see little fur ripples on his belly. Or at least that's his story about those ripples.
One of our housemates (she rents our basement apartment) has e-mailed you about Alvie... she really wants a little marmalade boy kitten. I'm crossing my fingers she is able to bring Alvie home, and then I will be able to visit him in the downstairs apartment all the time!
Wow, tough day.
ReplyDeleteHe is just SO precious! I miss having kitties to snuggle with.
ReplyDeleteGive that tummy a few extra rubs, from someone who loves and misses the kitties she had to give to loving homes.
Oops - gotta clean my screen....left fingerprints all over it trying to rub Alvie's belly!
ReplyDeleteIs Charlene giving him lots of baths since he is her "only" now?
He is such a beautifully soft (dilute??) orange marmalade color with the creamiest white accents.
He is America's Next Top Kitty Model!
