The kittens could use some help, Charlene. They are trying hard to catch that big fat fly trapped behind the shades. Maybe you could offer the Davenports a tip, or two.
those are most adorable pictures. MS butterbean does not seem too concerned with the fly... My 'Steve' would just dive directly into the shades, tearing them and ripping them down with his 22 lb. body. the fly wouldnt know what hit him. oh, for this reason there are NO blinds or pretty shades in my house...
OMG! In that last shot, I'm not sure which kitten is the closest to Charlene - but the expression is definitely a "why aren't you stepping in here?" It is soooo cute!
A good parent knows when to let the younglings learn things on their own...Charlene will just wait until they're done and then bathe the lot! (Oh, and it's clear that she IS a sterling parent!)
Charlene *is* the best, isn't she? Keeping her distance, letting the itty bitties learn by doing. And I have no doubt she'll be bathing her some kitties in no time. She has her priorities in order.

ReplyDeleteOh my, itty bitty's in the semi-meercat position. I love the sitting upright on the hind legs!
ReplyDeleteYes indeed, scooterpants, a fly in the house means destruction at my place, too. Being indoor kittehs, if it moves, it's toast!
The Butterbean knows that the best way to learn is through experience.
ReplyDeleteOoo....I wish you could ship these kittens to India! They are the cutest!
ReplyDeleteAha, so Charlene Butterbean is where Miss Maddie learned that from.
