I'm sorry, Inez. I know there haven't been too many pictures of you posted on the blog. Let me assure you, you are just as loved, and just as fabulous as all the kittens in the litter. It's just that kitties with shiny black coats are just more difficult to photograph than others. I'm sorry,, I'm trying.
Awwww What a lovely picture of a lovely kitten!!
ReplyDeleteShe reminds me of my dear departed Sooty...
ssoooo sooooo Happy to see you again Inez.. You are a fabulous beautiful kitty and I Love you Very much...Black Kitties are the cutest...miaaouuccchhhh -- Jeanne
ReplyDeleteAnd yet, Laurie, you make it look so easy with this absolutely fabulous portrait of that sweet little girl!
ReplyDeletePhew! For a second there, I thought you were going to tell us that Inez was a boy! ;-)
ReplyDeleteIt's ok darling little Inez, you can lose the disappointed face now because Laurie has just taken a super picture of you.
ReplyDeleteWell done Laurie.
(and well done Inez for top quality guilt trippin')
Sweet Inez, you've stolen our hearts! That little white chin is just too much!
ReplyDeleteShe's sooo beautiful ! Inez, you deserved that post just about you !
ReplyDeleteShe is only getting cuter by the second! Inez, you are adorable - purrfectly adorable! Many snorgles to your belly and tons of kisses on that little white chin!
ReplyDeletelooks like someone has been doin some 'growin without permission'
ReplyDeleteshes getting prettier all the time!
wow....somebody grew! hello cutie pie!
ReplyDeleteOooh, such a cutie! I loves me the black kitties best!
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll post her "baby" picture next to this one so we can more easily compare the photos. I scrolled down to see the "before" and it's amazing how she's grown and become more sylphlike. She's the poster girl for the perfect black (shorthaired) tuxedo kitty. The unique white circle of her chin makes her VERY special and extra beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLet me take a stab at describing Inez's purrfectness in this photograph...
ReplyDeleteShe is sitting up in purrfect kitteh fashion, staring right at the camera. Her little gold-green eyes are riveting and her little white chin patch gives her an air of seriousity that may or may not run true to form. The tips of her black ears are quite hairy and her inside ear hairs are mostly white.
Adding to her serious look are those delicious white whiskers - the over-eye ones are nearly straight up, with a bit of curve. Her teeny black nose is sprouting white whiskers that arc out like angel wings.
Under her chin is a bib of floofy white fur which thins out as it heads belly-ward, where it thickens again to white. Her prim & proper paws are covered with white mittens.
All in all - Inez is a young beauty whom, I'm positive, is not nearly as serious as she appears!
Yes! the chin says it all...she forgives you, Laurie. And so do I. And (as usual) now I want another itty bitty baby kitty (Evangeline & Lilliane remain unconvinced.)
ReplyDeleteWhat an angel! She is so cute. Love black or mostly black cats.
ReplyDeleteOh she is so sweet! I love her crooked little whiskers. :D
ReplyDeletevia - You described Inez purrfectly!
ReplyDeleteI am sure she has perfected the serious mien to fool us lovely humans into snuggling and catering to her.
Black fur is difficult, but with the diffuse lite from the window, Inez is captured to her advantage!
Oh Inez! I'm so in love with you!
ReplyDeleteHey Laurie, any chance that you'd allow her to come to San Francisco? She is just too precious!

They ARE hard to photograph. I felt bad that my little Charlie, a tuxedo as well, got less good photographs. Nice job with Inez!
ReplyDeleteChintastic beauty!
ReplyDeleteYour photography is amazing!
ReplyDeleteLove this picture of little Inez. It looks like she has the tuxedo spirit! (Tuxies are also great clowns - lucky family who adopts her!) What a sweetie!
ReplyDeleteGreat pix, Laurie!
Its true, little shiny dark coated kitties are harder to photograph! I'm happy to hear, however, I'm not the only one who has trouble with it. I heart her whiskers...so striking :)
ReplyDeleteHe's my favorite. That little white tuff under the chin.....ugh pure cuteness!!!!
ReplyDelete*Correction* I meant she!
ReplyDeleteThat's ok Inez, because tuxies are my favorite and I think *peaks over shoulders and whispers* you're the cutest of them all. Shhh....
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant post, thanks a lot for sharing this with us!
