Poor little Davenports had such a rough day yesterday. They had to go in for their shots, blood draws, and micro-chipping. Every one did very well. Chet got a little bit fussy, but no one else made a single peep. Nice job kittens.
As soon as we got home, all the Davenports, climbed up on the davenport, and took a big, long nap.
PILE O' KITTEHS!!!! Too dang cute.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad everyone survived the big day yesterday relatively unscathed. :)
OMG Orson is like a puppy in cat form. Look at those big paws. They call to me. They say, "pull on me and squeal in baby talk."
ReplyDeleteI can't help it, I'm attached. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteOh, it's a good thing they didn't pile into the bathtub or the litterpan when they got home, or you'd have to change their last name! Sorry, I couldn't resist.
ReplyDeleteMany YAYs for big kitties finding their forever homes yesterday, including timid Nala, purrful Oliver, sweet Sonja, fluffy Shasta and gentle Ophelia.
And we have a Miss Beatrix in the cattery! She's a gorgeous new momma whose kittens found homes, now it's her turn. Her name fits her perfectly, in honor of Anne B's beautiful girl!
OMG! They are even cuter when they're together! More! More! I know they don't bunch as much as other families, but more! And then more single shots. I just want it all.
ReplyDeleteShana, nice work finding homes for the big darlings, and Beatrix is thrilled to have namesake. She says, "We are pleased", as she uses the royal "we".
oh! now i see how much smaller the stripey kittens are.
ReplyDeletethey both look like they could be from a completely different litter.
i love seeing this photo of them all together. glad to hear they all did ok with their trip to the doctor yesterday.
so sweet.
Davenports on the davenport... I want to see how you name the next bunch! lol
ReplyDeleteThey are an adorable bunch - that's for sure!
OMG - Kitten pile .... but not just ANY kitten pile!
ReplyDeleteIts a DAVENPORT KITTEN pile of exquisite arrangement.
Purrs to all the IBKs!
And Hurrah for all the big kitties finding homes! Patience big ones, there are smart people out there!
After a day of being poked and prodded....I would take a long nap too!
ReplyDeleteit is sooooo cute to see them all together in a "5-pack"!
ReplyDeletePurry Hugs,
Robin
Oh, my! They are so adorable, all curled together in the corner of the davenport, legs all askew, and looking up at the photographer with a "You're not doing that to us again, are you?" expression.
ReplyDeleteWhat sweet babies - just I want to bury my face in those teeny tummies though. I swan but they make me want a teeny for my own....
ReplyDeleteShana Banana - THANK YOU! Also Megwetch, Merci, Grazie -- for posting us up on the bigkitties AND of course for pouring all that love into them (on behalf of all of us too far away to do it ourselves)
My favorite is little Inez in the back!
ReplyDeleteOh, if you look very closely you can see Inez's tiny white chin, and a bit of her tux. What a precious little group the Davenports are.
ReplyDeleteLOL! shana & viabloomington... How about Chesterfields on the Chesterfield? (at least that's what my Canadian friends called a Davenport). ;-)
ReplyDeleteDavenports: Too cute for words!
And yeah for Nala, Oliver, Sonja, Shasta and Ophelia! What a great day! Now we hold Miss Beatrix II in our thoughts'n'prayers!
Poor little Davenports, I hope they get to rest up now, having their very own sofa must be a help ;)
ReplyDeleteyour photos are just adorable. that charlene, she is a good foster mama. it must be hard for her to see the babies go. and you guys, too, of course!
ReplyDeleteNothing like a good long nap to recover from vet-stress! So good to see them all together!
ReplyDeleteAnd great news about the big kitties - I cheer everytime you give such a report, Shana Banana!
It's easier to see what you mean about Chet in this photo. He's obviously slightly older. Every family should adopt, though. 8-]
