She is mostly black and very, very fluffy. While she's sitting up, she has that head down but slightly turning and looking up "come hither" expression of all the best film vamps of the '30s and '40s. She's wearing very symmetrical white mittens, very evenly lined up on each paw and each paw matching the others to the millimeter, but she's also wearing a fuzzy white scarf down her chest and it zigs and zags with fringed edges to show that she is capable of being both the wild spirit and the sweet young thing. A kitten with her own style.
Oh, she IS luscious! Is "Trudy" short for Ermintrude? Over 50 years ago the boxer dog who raised me had a moment of indiscretion with a dalmatian and one of the 8 puppies was Ermintrude, called "Trudy". This Trudy is a doll baby.
Elegance with whiskers! Now, THIS, ladies and gentlemen, is a lady, clearly well-behaved. Best watch your language around this one (she's delicate, but she does have wee claws!).
AWWW, how sweet! What a beautiful little girl. Can't wait to see a picture of the whole little family all together. Everyone so far has been just gorgeous.
Chanter, Miss Trudy isn't quite a tuxedo because she's wearing a fringey white scarf instead of a white shirt, but she's definitely 100 percent teeny, tiny, whiskery kitten!
Anybody see this yet? (hopefully the link will work) They say imitation is the sincerest form, but Laurie takes better shots! http://icanhascheezburger.com/
Oh my god, she's the spitting image of the kitten, Maxie, I lost to a snakebite. Down to her eye-colour. It's really freaky. I hope she finds an awesome home.
..my..I want to eat her!!
ReplyDeleteMasa, that's so funny, because my first thought was "She's luscious!"
ReplyDeleteOhhhh a fluffy black and white beauty! She is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWelcome Trudy, to you and your brothers!
Can't wait to see more of you sweeties!

ReplyDeleteAnd those lovely white whiskers set against silky blackitude. Precious heartbreaker! I declare she almost rivals Miss Fluffbudget.

ReplyDeleteVery chic....short white gloves and a flyaway scarf!

ReplyDeleteHmmmm... Ermintrude has vampitude! (or is that vamptitude?)
ReplyDeleteShe's just gorgeous... and I really like the name. Although, *sigh,* I doubt I could dig up a science connection...LOL!
Welcome, Ms. Livermore!
I've noticed the Livermores have such perfect elegant whiskers. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty! She looks like a lady but i'm sure she has the heart of a tomboy. You'd have to with those brothers.
ReplyDeleteOh, Miss Trudy - I do declare - y'all are the most scrumpdeleicious kitteh I've seen in a 'coon's age! *sigh*

ReplyDeleteI cannot imagine any additional sibs NOT meeting or exceeding the cute quotient of this trio of kittens.
Laurie....painful though the wait was for us all....the Livermores are worth it!

ReplyDeleteActually, there IS a science connection here. Look up Gertrude B. Elion -she was a pharmacologist who was awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1988.
ReplyDeleteI'd love the idea of the Livermores all being named for scientists!!
Most of all, I love the Livermores. Such sweet faces!

ReplyDeleteYes, her fur is luscious, yes that nose is patent -leather cute.
ReplyDeleteBut those white whiskers are just killer.
Ooh, gotcha. Tuxedo or not, she's still adorable, and that's me just going off the descriptions! *cuddles*
ReplyDeleteTrudy is soooo cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy that you have kittens again!
Yay! : )
I aspire to take kitty photos half as well as you!
Someday.
Miss Trudy, you are a delightful and saucy little sausage!
