Treadwell Farewells
Hi folks,, I am just popping in to let everyone know that Sue was successful at finding a wonderful home for Ingrid and Owen. Lucky for me, they live just a few blocks away from my house !
Sue came over last week with all the Treadwells before they went off to their new homes. It was a treat to have the three puff balls bouncing around the house. Charlene enjoyed them immensely.
No kittens for us yet,, soon though. Hang in there folks...

Check out these fabulous Treadwell paws!

While it's a joy to see some new kitty pictures, it's so GREAT to hear your "voice" again Laurie. We missed you! And Charlene!
ReplyDeleteYay for new homes for the Treadwells! They have the most pawesome paws!!
ReplyDeleteOMG. Is that 8 toes on that one foot?
ReplyDeleteLordy, this just makes my day! And that Ingrid and Owen are together is frosting on the Treadwell cake. Now I can forge ahead with a lighter heart.
ReplyDeleteoh lawd, they are glorious
ReplyDeleteHooray for the Treadwells!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of toes, we had a biggie in the Cattery last year with 42 toes! We counted! They went on forever and ever and ever and ... of course he was adopted immediately. Who could resist?!
Great news from the Cattery ~ biggies Dora (L-O-V-E that girl), Jedi & Willow all found their new forever homes yesterday. Plus, Tigger & Nike found their owners! YAY!
Awww... is Ms. Butterbean lonely without puffballs to chase? Poor Ms. Bean.
ReplyDeleteHugo is gorgeous! They are all beauties but Hugo...that face! The fuzz!
ReplyDeleteHolly I agree with you Hugo is the best of the triplets... ;) A;though I like Ingrids perfect black stripes too!
ReplyDeleteHugo looks like he was a five o'clock shadow!
ReplyDeleteOh, so good to have another Treadwell post! Congrats, Sue, on finding good homes for all.
ReplyDeleteShana, thanks for the updates on last post and this on your "just more of 'em to love" kittehs!!
Ok, you're not supposed to have favorites, but Hugo has totally smitten me! I fell in love when I saw the "prayer" pic in the last batch.
Those are some SERIOUS paws! That is quite the collection of TOES! Even though she only has Normal Human Toes like all reg'lar cats, looking at those toeses made me go put smooches on my Evangeline's fuzzy little foots. (wouldn't you say, friends, that our in-house kitties wind up getting extra loving on account of we look at all the precious adorable itty-bitties?)
ReplyDeleteHow precious these guys are! Those toes are amazing :-) We have a big ol' poly ourselves (30 toes)and he is the joy of our lives.
ReplyDeleteSo happy for the Treadwells and their new families!
I wasn't expecting the footnote to be a literal *foot*note....
ReplyDeleteCute as always.
Me and my ex-itty bitties agree with you, D-H. Much more snorgles and smoos post-IBKC viewings!
ReplyDeleteYes, D-H, this just puts me in a cat huffing frenzy!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I have to say that Ingrid's tiny tongue peeping out is adorable.
That's good to hear. It gives me hope for my own itty bitty kitty Pepi. She'll make someone a wonderful kitty one day. (And it can't come too soon for me. I love my foster but she's very mischievous.)
ReplyDeleteI am sooo happy to hear Ingrid and Owen will be staying together, they are just tooo precious to separate....and also knowing Hugo will be the little star that he is in his new home. Hope everyone has a great day ;o)
ReplyDeleteThose are some of the greatest kitty paws I have ever seen! And YAY that all the Treadwells have new homes! :)
ReplyDeletePS: Welcome back Laurie!
Hooray for Treadwells! Hooray for their new families! This is, indeed, a pawesome post!
ReplyDeleteSuch proshness. Love the blue eyes!
ReplyDeleteWannaSmile:)
Oh Oh Oh I'm about to burst! Two of our favorite long-timers were adopted together today! Amos & Oscar found their new forever home! They're fantastic adult brothers who have been in the shelter system since March(mostly at a nearby vet who is one of our faithful off-site adoption locales)! I'm so so excited for these boys. Let's all toast to their new lives!
ReplyDeleteAlso, sweet Lucy was adopted yesterday. She came to the shelter last week as a stray, was spayed on Tuesday and adopted on Wednesday. That's what I'm talkin' about!
I don't have a complete list of other biggie adoptions but I'm sure there were several. I'm off until next Thursday and I'll have a long list of YAYs by then. Thanks for letting me share!
I just heard some awesome news ~ the shelter's Comcast OnDemand Pet Adoption show is the most watched OnDemand show in Western WA! We average between 8000 & 9000 viewers each month. Let's hear it for all our shelter animals and let's find them great homes!
ReplyDeleteWoo Hoo!
Shana and Everyone! I've said it before but I'm saying it again. When the world looks gloomy and/or we're feeling down,it's coming here to be together and share the joys, and :( too, that keeps us going.
ReplyDeleteHere's to to all the IBKC workers and watchers! Cheers!
Anne I know what you mean - The first time I saw the Treadwells in Sue's post I had a great big grin!
ReplyDeleteWished I had a kitty to share snorgles and cuddles with though.
Farewell, dear Treadwells -enjoy your wonderful Forever families! And you too, the kitties adopted from Shana's shelter. So nice to hear about the big guys getting another chance and becoming very loved new members of special families. Good news all around!
ReplyDeleteoh, i can imagine that MS
ReplyDeleteButterbean Loves her 'down time'.
she can rest up for the next round of beautiful baby kittens and get some extra love time from mom and dad.
i'm so looking forward to the next lovely bunch and the beautiful photos! hope that your break is relaxing and wonderful! what fabulous weather we have been blessed with!
I was about to close it up for the night (it's after the witching hour) and decided to pop in and see what new comments were on the post!
ReplyDeleteShana, that is fantastic!!! Yeah for forever homes for older kittehs! Yeah for fabulous OnDemand viewership for the shelter!
And yep, Anne... you said it! This community is a lift and a comfort when we need it!
when Sue brings kitties over - these are not just pictures - these are portraits - and they are always georgious and fluffy and cute and perfectly posed - no wonder we fall in love with them!!!! Now I am not saying that the candid shots are not beauties too - but people would pay big for this quality of kitty portraits!!!!
