These two are darling! I would be heartbroken, too, to have to let them go, but from what we've "seen" of Cori, they will be very loved... Knowing that has got to help. Still, I don't know how you do it, Laurie, but thank goodness you do!
this photo is gorgeous of the two Boyz. if nothing else, their going to their forever home will save your blinds (and drapes) any further molestation. Let'em go shred their Mama's drapes! Ha!
Just think of the loving forever home they will share as brothers...as much as you will miss them it must feel good to know that you made it possible for Cori to take home her new babies. Happy Friday to all and looking forward to the next kitty family!
Sad to say goodbye, but I can only imagine Cori's excitement! It's particularly wonderful having her enthusiasm posted for all of us to read. There's no question these two will be loved.
99.9% excited to finally get them home with me, .1% sad to take them away from Laurie. Hopefully the math will work out in the end and I can keep everyone updated with pics and wonderful stories about these two amazing kitty cats. 1 day to go!!
A wonderful picture to remember them by - or to tide us over until Cori contributes some pictures. Enjoy the dynamic duo, Cori, and please snorgle them every day for us. You are in for great fun!
So are you, Laurie - there are more ittybitties out there awaiting your (and Charlene's)trademark love and care.
Farewell Davy and Albert, you have delighted me in every photograph. Best of luck in your new home with Cori, I think you have landed firmly on your eight paws there and will be very happy and much loved!
Oooh - everyone - pictures of Trudy (with her little shaved Belly) and Lyle under the IBKC alum photos! Thank you to their new forever mom for posting. They look so happy and content :-)
Bye baby boys. You beautiful little men-kitties! Try not to be too cute as you leave, so as to make it easier on the IBKC folk (i know it's difficult, but give it a whirl).
Just remember how skittish they were at first and how happy and loving they are now. That should give you a feeling of accomplishment which might help with the sadness...
And hooray to Cori.

OK. All the Livermores are in their new forever homes and here we sit. Adorable pictures of Trudy and Lyle on the alum page! Waiting for Cori to take a break from huffing Albert and Davy long enough to let us know how it's going and if she can tell the boys apart. Then wondering how long till the next batch of IBKs arrives. I suppose I could vacuum and do laundry, but I like it here.
New kitties next week?

ReplyDeletei have to say, the livermores were such a handsome/beautiful bunch of kittens! Such expressive faces and eyes!
ReplyDeleteI finally figured out who Albert looks like. Tom Kitten from the Beatrix Potter story "The Tale of Tom Kitten".
ReplyDeleteDon't pop your buttons in a growth spurt, Albert!
Oh... I will miss their sweet faces! But, hooray for Cori & a forever home!

I understand how you feel. Once, we found two kitties. One was going to be mine, but it disappeared. But I got another kitty, and I'm happy now.
ReplyDeleteI love your blog!
