The Lovely Little LaBath Ladies
Good morning everyone. I'd like you to meet four demure little girls that are now residing in our home.
They moved in just yesterday afternoon, but are already settled in and seem completely comfortable and relaxed.
They spent their first two hours playing HARD. They pounced, they romped, and they bounced all over their bedroom. I think they had a lot of pent up energy from the stretch they spent in their cage at the HS.
Sue came over later in the afternoon to meet the girls and help give baths, blow-dries, and pedicures. They were in serious need of a spa day.
All the names have been decided upon, and I'll formally introduce each girl over the next few days.
We've never had an all girl litter before. It will be interesting to see how they differ from the rest.

An excellent way to start the day! Good morning Labath ladies!! I love you!
ReplyDeleteWow. Lots of crazy markings on these ones!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. They're adorable, and I'm just betting that they have a lot of personality, too! Welcome little ladies...
ReplyDeleteWelcome, ladies! I hope your spa treatments weren't too traumatic.
ReplyDeleteAnd somewhat off topic, after visiting this site since the second batch of posted ibkc's, I've decided every group is the cutest, every kitten the most wonderful, and every adoptive parent/family just ends up with the best....just as it should be.
Be still my heart! What a lovely group of little ladies. I love the freckles on their faces.
ReplyDeleteI think a dalmatian snuck into their pedigree somewhere down the line.
ReplyDeleteWhat sweet little girls!! I wonder, does Charlene have a preference for boys or girls, or does she love all the babes equally?
ReplyDeletethose noses! just like snowflakes - no 2 alike.
ReplyDeleteOh, so sweet! I am fostering a litter of 4 boys right now. I wish I had 4 girls instead! I swear the boys never sleep. They're always biting and attacking each other.
ReplyDeleteAwww what cute little girls...
ReplyDeleteI would have the two black and white ladies on the right of the pictures...
Oh man these ladies are sure cute and I bet they have a distinct personality!
Ooooh, look at these little faces!!!!
ReplyDeleteHow cute they are!!!!
Welcome little ladies! Can't wait to know you better!!!
Oh, how wonderfully, sweetly, heartbreakingly adorable they are!!!!
ReplyDeleteOnly heartbreaking because I WANT!
love,
Whiskers
Woohoo! More kitties. I agree with Anon - every itty bitty kitty group is the sweetest, and have been following since the Bouvier family (though I must admit, I still have the biggest soft spot for Cornelius and Maddie).
ReplyDeleteAwwwwww!
ReplyDeletewell grrrl kittehs are smarter, duh!
ReplyDeleteWhat a bunch of puddin' pops! What a delightful way to start the day! So glad I found your site.
ReplyDeleteI squee-ed aloud. Actually went "EEEEEEEEE" when I saw in my "live bookmark" that there was a new itty bitty bloggy entry!!!!
ReplyDeleteChanter, I don't have much time to describe, but four babies, all dominantly white, with little masks on - two with lovely grey masks and two with lovely black masks (and a few assorted matching beauty marks for all of them)! We're just in time for halloween with this group. Thank goodness Miss Butterbean doesn't take her charges trick-or-treating or she'd end up lugging four bags stuffed full of treats from enchanted vicitms!!!
Jade,
ReplyDeleteI'm fostering a female kitten (9 months) and she's a perpetual motion machine. I don't think a litter of all girls would be much better than all boys.
JasonInIllinois
Oh my.....I wish I live on the W Coast. They are sooo cute!!
ReplyDeleteHEIRS Pet Place
I think the one with the little spot on her lip should be named Cindy, you know, as in Cindy Crawford...
ReplyDeleteOh so sweet!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to meet the ladies!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the girls interact with CB!
ReplyDeleteLove them! Laurie, I'm so glad you posted these girls today. Meeting them yesterday was such a pleasure and a secret I just wasn't going to be able to keep much longer!
ReplyDeleteIBKC fans, these girls are even cuter in-person (in-cat?) than you could possibly imagine.
Great news from the Cattery ~ biggies Zoomer (a gorgeous abby girl), Upton (any baseball fans out there?), Bianca (gentle himmy mix), and Mungus (short for HUmungus ~ the biggest and gentlest boy I've ever met) all found their new forever homes yesterday! YAY!!
i am in love! What a gorgeous group of girlies!
ReplyDeleteOh, they are like two sets of twins!
ReplyDeleteCan I suggest Lorelei, Linda, Lesley, and Lucinda?
ReplyDeleteGIRLS RULE!!!!! What a treat to see during a crazy day, 4 little sweeties in a row. Looking forward to meeting them all....
ReplyDeleteSweet little kittehs, all with smudgey noses. What a nice day! Thanks for taking in yet another crew, Laurie!
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh!
ReplyDelete*jumping up and down*
they are beautiful!
oh! I hope one is named Elizabeth!
how big (little) are they?
I cant wait for MS Bean to meet them!
Ummm, you kinda forgot to wipe off their faces after their baths!!!! lololol. Oh how I loved smudged faces. Can't wait for formal intros, they are so awesomely cute!
ReplyDeleteAnd so CLEAN which I gather was not the case upon arrival! I do agree that girls are smarter since, as I've said before, my Beatrix speaks in complete sentences and her brother, Potter, has but one word, "HUH?"
ReplyDeleteHowever, Beatrix is more often the midnight hellion while Potter sleeps next to me and only wakes me up if he needs to nurse on my finger for a while.... hey, he's only 4-1/2 years old, give the boy a break!
awww - what sweet little princesses - every one of them!
ReplyDeleteOMG! The cuteness makes my teeth hurt!
ReplyDeletebtw - is anyone besides me having a really difficult time with posting? On my PC I can't get the comment area to come up - and on my Mac I can't just put in my LJ credentials like I used to be able to.
Anyway... I figured out how to get a post up - although even if I can't comment - I can't not watch the parade of marvelous IBKs!
They are adorable, Laurie! Can't wait for the formal introductions!
ReplyDeleteWill be interesting to hear your take on raising an all girl band!
And Shana - great news about more big kittie finding their homes! Yay!
I can vouch for the girls' not-so-clean appearance when they arrived at the shelter. But Laurie & Sue worked their IBKC magic and voila ~ four perfect sparkling little girls!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Girlies! It would be fun to know what those tiny masked noses have been into :) How nice that you gave them a Spa Day as their introduction into home life! Their new parents will have fun trying to keep up with you.
ReplyDeleteTwo sets of twins! I can't wait to learn their names. Shana Banana, I'm sure I'm not the only one who enjoys reading which big kitties have lately been adopted, so thank you for always sharing!
ReplyDeleteI opened the page and yelled "Oh my gosh!" when I saw how cute they all are. I love them already. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with the little girl with the spotted left front leg. Can't wait for more pictures of all of them!
ReplyDeleteNew IBKC kitties are always so much fun!!!
They ARE a little bouquet of smudges, aren't they? I'm SO glad they came on the heels of the boys moving on; a day without my IBK fix is....well, just no darned fun at all, is all. And you know - I love all these babies so much, it makes me love my OWN kitties even more! (I think Evangeline's making sure I see them every day - more treats for her and Lilliane!)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh!!!!! Look at all those cute girls!!!!
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful kitties!!! I sure wish I lived closer... So my broad of 5 could become 7! :)
ReplyDeleteTo Shana Banana - second the folks who applaud you in finding home for the grown kitties too. When we found our two babies they were itty bitties and this site reminds me of all that kitten fun! But they are young adults now and need us just as much, plus seeing them grow up and develop their own personalities completes the circle. Love to Laurie for what you do with the babies but it would be too hard for me to give them up!! Thanks for my favorite site on the whole internet ;o)!
ReplyDeletePleasure to meet you, little ladies.
ReplyDeleteI am really hoping that little gray gal on the end will be named Hula
ReplyDelete*singing the theme song from DREAMGIRLS*
ReplyDeleteThey are so sweeeeet! What a gaggle of gorgeousness!
Oh my word! This is the most adorable litter EVER!!! Now more than ever, I wish I had room for two new kittens, because I'd drive up from Vancouver and adopt the grey/white pair... or the black/white pair... or one of each... Aw shucks, all four of them!! It's so hard remembering that just because Tacoma is only a few hours away doesn't mean I can adopt every single IBK.
ReplyDeleteI have had one of the worst days ever today. but seeing those adorable little faces made me smile, especially the little girl on the left...
ReplyDeleteOh
ReplyDeleteMy
Gosh!
Are the Misse LaBath named in honor of there hygeine consultant Miss Butterbean's favorite activity?
Sigh....here kitty kitty
They are so pretty! I can't wait to meet them invididually.
ReplyDeleteWell hello little LaBath girls. I am delighted to meet you and look forward to seeing some displays kitteny goodness. My how pretty and full of character you all are!
ReplyDeleteGood googely moogely! What a stunning pair of little girls! I am so excited to see them! What beauties!
ReplyDeleteIt's Little Women! Charlene can be Marmie.
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with the third one from the left. Of course, they're all darling!
NK- ha! i'm from vancouver washington too!
ReplyDeleteand i too have thought about driving up and adopting one of Lauries adorables!
Julia - I have a hard time posting on this format as well. It won't let me see a preview and won't always accept my comment at all. Ijust keep trying and am usually successful.
ReplyDeleteJustine, I believe that the IBKC is heaven's way of making those awful days a bit more bearable. Not only do you have the balm of babies, you also have the support and care of all of us groupies which hopefully absorbs some of your sadness. Blessings girlfriend.
ReplyDeleteIt is a GREAT thing I live on the east coast, or I would be the crazy cat lady with 13, these 4 among them. SO CUTE!
ReplyDeleteOh, and a shout-out to Ms. Butterbean for a package of all 4 sets; they are headed for Christmas stockings of family members, cat lovers all.
Thanks, Laurie, for this great blog and the rescue work you do. The IBKC always makes my day.
There so cute! Plus, you can tell them all apart.
ReplyDeleteI'll love to hear the names you gave them.
OMG!!! Baby girls!
ReplyDeleteJust dragged home. Didn't even log on to my computer yesterday I was so tired...
What a lift! Welcome little ladies!... I'm off the meet the first of you now!
I'm meeeelting! Teeny tiny girl kitties! And all with smudgies and spots and masks? Much love!
ReplyDeleteAs for the rest, agreed with everyone else about loving to read about big kitties finding their forever homes. I love those stories!
