It looks like her black fur is like an extremely dark tortie pattern -OR- (strange as it sounds) light and dark black. And I just love the floofy white bib that starts with a "milk drool" out of the left side of her mouth, under her chin and down her chest.
Her expression is that of such trust and peace accented by incredible arching white whiskers!!!!
She certainly is precious. I love how in Davy's picture in the previous post you can see her next to him, her paws on his side. She's really is special I think.
I was showing these to a friend who now lives in the UK and she called them "candybox kittens" I had never heard the term before - evidently it means exceptionally sweet looking floofy kittens - such evidently adorned some chocolate boxes in years past. Yup. That describes the Livermores - sweet and floofy! 'Specially Ms. Trudy - I have to say that I have a special place in my heart for black and white kittens, too!
She's a heartbreaker and she knows it! Reminds me of Inez, that cutie.
YAYs for biggies finding their new forever homes including BatCat & Snowflake, our "fosters" at Met Vet in Tacoma! And we had 7 new biggies on TV today for our adoption show, I just know they'll all be adopted soon, especially Gumbo the big buff tabby lovebug. His brother Jambalaya was already adopted, too bad they didn't go together. I think I was hungry the day they were named...
Everytime I pop over here I'm rewarded, thanks for the grins. Trudy is just so darn cute, I love her furriness, and her little white streak that starts at her mouth runs down her chin and turns into a bib.
That Trudy looks like a fake black and white, just like my Fuzz. I betcha she looks black in normal light, but with a flash or in direct sun, you can see that red-brown and those tabby markings!
Doodle Bean that was the same with my Sooty - He was black in normal light but if he was out in the sun he turned brown and if you looked closely and in the right light he had light brown tabby stripes between his ears.
He was the only black and white kitten in a litter of tabbies.
I lost my heart at her first picture. She's so precious!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for the Livermore cards now!
She had me at her first pic too - Good job I'm in the UK or I'd be round at Lauries saying I'd be Trudy's forever home!
ReplyDeleteNot only is she a beauty, she gives me perhaps my first opportunity to use the word "winsome". She a winsome beauty.
