Hey look! It's Edward and Inez!! They are hardly even kittens anymore!!! Thanks goes to their mom, Marianne, for sharing the pics. She reports her beautiful babies are doing well, growing fast and learning all sorts of tricks.
Geeze, they are just so lovely. Edward has the best stripes. Inez has such a wonderful, shiny coat.
It's so good to see them again.
I didn't think these two could become even more beautiful post ibk-stage, but they did! Many thanks to their forever mom for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThey are just as wonderful as ever - thanks for sharing forever mama and Laurie!!!
ReplyDeleteNow THAT's why you like them to be adopted in pairs! Look at those two forever friends!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, this entire series of pictures is so cute, but that last one just about did me in!! So snuggly!
ReplyDeleteThey are growing to be so regal!!
ReplyDeleteAw, I love to see a couple sibling (or non-sibs) cats growing up together and maintaining their affection for each other.
ReplyDeleteWow! Unless I see the pictures that Forevers send, the IBKs remain itty bitty in my mind. While remembering them as babies is nice, it's really wonderful to realize that I've seen so many wonderful kittens, who might have had sad stories were it not for the IBKC, become fine, beautiful and beloved adult kitties. Makes my day!
ReplyDeleteAren't they gorgeous?! Just makes you want to tear up!
ReplyDeleteThanks Edward and Inez's Momma for sharing!
I'm with Anne Boleyn, does a heart good to see them grown up and having a happy life together. Now if I could just get my two kitties to cuddle up together like that! They too are brother and sister rescue babies (almost 2 now) but aren't real snuggly with each other. They do lick each other's heads occasionally. Thanks for sharing these gorgeous pictures of these two beauties.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness me!
ReplyDeleteLittle Inez has become such a lovely graceful girl - I'm so impressed with her!
I've got tears in my eyes - Inez was my fav Davenport kitty and she looks beautiful... :)
Nothing less than stunning. Thank you to their mom for confirming us what we already knew - that the IBKC babies are blessed with a foster family that not only gives them the best start, but makes sure they are loved and well cared for all their lives.
ReplyDeleteInez looks like the first ever cat I looked after.
ReplyDeletePippin was that exact same colour pattern if I remember rightly and its going back a very very long time!
Thanks everyone for your nice comments about our babies! They truly are the best of buds and can always be found together. They have been the best from day one, thanks to a great start with Laurie. We love them to pieces and are glad that you got to see them again.
ReplyDeleteMarianna does the apir have a blog??
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Especially Inez. Thanks for posting pics.
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh look how gorgeous they are! its so nice to see them again, and still together, looks like they love each other a LOT too! sweet!
ReplyDeleteInez Davenport's kitten picture is my favorite of all time. Her round little face just slays me!
ReplyDeleteOH MY! Inez has been one of my favorite little ones in all of the itty bitty kitty committee's history (shhh...don't tell the others!) And look how beautiful she is grown up!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely young lady she has become. Marianne, could you give her (and her brother too of course) a big smoochums from me?!?
What a great update.
lovely kittens, gorgeous young cats!!! thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteawwww, they have grown up and turned into such beautiful kitties!
ReplyDeletethanks so much for sharing!
Marianne, a thousand thanks...no, a thousand TIMES a thousand thanks! Maybe the kittens leave Laurie with information on how to get their forever parents to take absolutely smashing pictures, because all the updates are sterling - but these? Oh my goodness but it's sweet seeing glossy, happy, loving cats emerge from wonky little fuzzballs. Nothing but Special Love and Cherishing can produce cats like that. Good work, Marianne -- oh, did I say THANK YOU?
ReplyDeleteAww, I love it when cats snuggle together. So adorable!
ReplyDeleteWonderful teenagers who have grown from sweet kittens. Thank you so much for sharing, Marianne! Please pass along skritches from me to both of them!
ReplyDeleteaaaaw, this makes me smile after a crappy day. I love kitties snuggled together and looking out the window side-by-side, so sweet and innocent looking.
ReplyDeleteThank you for giving them both a great forever home and obviously showering them with lots of love.
No blog of their own yet. Maybe when they learn a few more tricks! I posted a few more of my favorite pictures of them when they were younger on the
ReplyDeleteItty Bitty Kitty Committee Alumni Association on flickr
Can you tell I'm a proud Mama?
It's so nice to see the IBK graduates doing well. I think cats are cuter as adults because their personalities have developed and they don't run wild all over the place. (My current foster kitty gets into a lot of trouble by herself.) I think what you do is awesome! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteA million thanks and purrs to Laurie for her IBKC and to Marianne for taking such good care of a treasured pair of kittens.
ReplyDeleteHurray for forever homes!
Inez & Edward, you little angels! Thanks, Marianne, for sharing their photos and updates with us. They look absolutely fabulous.
ReplyDeleteLots of activity in the Cattery today, mostly kitten adoptions but we did have a biggie find his new forever home ~ sweet Silly Bear showed us what he's got and now he's got a new family! I adore him. And 10-year-old Murphy's owner came to take him home. That was a touching and tearful reunion. Juno (5 months old) was also reunited with her owner. Yay!
Seconding Anne and Annie!
ReplyDeleteGosh those two have come a long way, what a beautiful pair of sleek, happy mancats. A credit to Laurie and Marianne.
oh my goodness! They are furbulous and sooo gorgeous, especially Inez..I remember her when she was just a tiny tiny baby, because I loved her at first sight.
ReplyDeleteThey both became big babies and thanks for sharing the precious pictures with all of us...Big big hugs to Edward and Inez xoxox Jeanne
PS: Absolutely LOVE the last picture
OMG! It is so good to see them again! They are growing into lovely cats - absolutely lovely. And, I, too love it when they get to go together. Those last two pics made me get all teary-eyed, too!
ReplyDeleteThey are gorgeous! And the photos are living proof that sending the itty bitties out in pairs is a good idea!
ReplyDeleteYay!
OMG, they're growing into such beautiful, beautiful cats!
ReplyDeleteBe still my heart.
ReplyDeleteI always had a soft spot for Inez because she's a beautiful tuxie. It's nice to see IBKs grow and shine.
