Miss Miranda was quite interested in the sounds of Craig's guitar this morning. She hopped into his lap and started strumming along using her teeth and toenails. She's mastered three chords already, and is considering starting a band.
Erhm....better guitar than, say, *violin*, non? However, I can't say as I'm surprised; the Itty Bittys' exposure to so many fine and aesthetic and creative things is bound to rub off on them!
Has quite the ring to it, eh? She may even allow a couple humans to participate in her band...those gee-tar thingys are awful heaveee for a rockin' kitty chick like her!
Rock on!
Oh and her nose spot, made me think of a built-in geetar pick!
Sorry everyone, I just ordered the last pack of Pickett cards! I picked up a Davenport and Pettibone pack as well. I've decided that instead of sending Christmas themed cards for the holidays, I will send these kitten cards as my holiday greetings. I am pleased that a portion of the proceeds will go towards helping your shelter.
I just can't stop looking at this series, it is so wonderful...It's kitten(s), music and learning all in one set.
I wonder - if she was attracted by the sound in the first place, did little miss Miranda realize, that she can make more noise by playing with the strings? It seems to me so, but it is difficult to tell and I haven't spent enough time with cats to figure this one out.
I also agree that Craig is indeed a very tolerant guitarist as he lets little miss play with his guitar even though it must be a bit worse for wear now after such purposeful exploration...
Her dark spot pattern reminds me of a ladybug. A rocker chick lady bug!

ReplyDeleteshes channeling Hendricks!
I love Miranda! What an out-going little kitty. Now if I could just get my grown-up one to like my flute-playing...
ReplyDeleteThe LaBath Sisters would make a great band!! Rocker kitty chicks unite ;o)

Hasn't Craig got beautiful hands!
ReplyDeletePlink-a-plink-a-plink. Twang-a-lang-a-lang. I got the music in me!
ReplyDeleteThe curiosity of a kitten is a marvel of nature.
ReplyDeleteI hope Miranda and her band start gigging soon.
And your assignment, Laurie, is to teach her to "sing" along ... then make a video
ReplyDeleteKittens are so wonderfully curious. The LaBath sisters are getting a well rounded education!
ReplyDeleteCraig doesn't just have beautiful hands, but he also tolerates kitty claws and teeth on his guitar.
ReplyDeleteWow!
I can't tell you how many guitar players I know who go ballistic if you hold their instrument in a 'wrong' way....
That is one great guy, right there! And Ms. Polka Dotted Miranda is one great kitty.
A mini-video of this would be wonderful, complete with sound!
ReplyDeleteOh I think im in love!!!!

ReplyDeleteCould her markings be any cooler? I think not!
