Holy Cow! They're Gone!!!
Weeeeeeeelllll, guess what? We only have two kittens bouncing around
the house this morning. Georgette and Miranda found themselves a
wonderful family this weekend and now they are gone!
Lucky for all of us, their new dad is a coworker of Craig's, so we'll
be able to keep close tabs on the girls.
They're going to have a great life...a family to love them,, a big
brother cat AND a dog too! Most importantly,, they're staying together.
I'm not sure Enid and Hester have even noticed that they're gone yet. They've been completely preoccupied exploring the boxes of Christmas decorations I brought up from the basement. We won't be putting up the tree until they leave. They're just a little too curious about Christmas. I don't think I want the angel on the top of my tree to be Enid!

Ohh, that's wonderful! I sure will miss seeing those little cow kittens though. Yay for all of the LaBath ladies!
ReplyDeleteYay! Great news!!!
ReplyDeleteExcellent way to distract them from the disappearing sisters-- unveil new mysteries to play in!
ReplyDeleteWoo-Hoo. A home just in time for Christmas. Best present ever.
ReplyDeleteHopefully the co-worker will take lots of pics of these two lovely ladies!
ReplyDelete:)
It's great that they found such a good home! Now we are hoping for the remaining LaBaths to find just the same. Paws crossed over here!
ReplyDeleteSiena & Chilli
Cat with a garden - Don't let Karen hear you say that! She's already claimed Enid and Hester and is bringing them home next weekend! All the ladies have homes.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy and my darling Beatrix is draped over my arms as I type, purring her head off, so she;s happy too.
ReplyDeleteThen why does this maker me weepy?
Oh wow! Such wonderful news...congrats you little gorgeous kitties...a new forever home and a dog and a big brother cat (to teach you all the ways to torment the poor doggie)...oh what fun :)
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to find your forever families right in time for Christmas :)
Wow, that seems so quick!
ReplyDeleteChanter, in this photo, Miranda and Georgette are standing side by side, looking up at the photographer with big innocent kitten eyes. Those two little sweeties would only contemplate Very Innocent Thoughts, right?
However, their roguish dots suggest otherwise...
Hot dang!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great bit of news!
Oh Baby Girls...I am so happy for you and sad for me. I will miss the daily doses of your sweet faces...Kitty Kisses!
ReplyDeleteI don't know Anne B - I'm a bit weepy when any of the babes leaves. Perhaps the thought of another pair of wonderful kittehs placed with wonderful forever parents! And maybe a little sad for the wonderful kittehs who will never know forever parents. And a little sigh for ourselves that we won't be watching them grow and play any more!
ReplyDeleteOur love goes with you, young ladies - I'm sure Laurie and Craig choose well for you!
That's fantastic news!!!!!! Aww. I'm glad they have a loving family to go to.
ReplyDeleteYay!
Oh, Yay! Forever homes! I will miss seeing those kittehs - but they are so happy, I'm sure!
ReplyDeleteOh, I agree with EVERYone! But when our precious LaBaths are all happily anticipating Christmas in their new forever homes....there are new kittens, I'm sure, preparing to become IBK and here we are, their Fan Club, already lined up in the cheering section!
ReplyDeleteWhat great news! I'm very happy for the gorgeous Georgette and the marvelous Miranda...
ReplyDeleteAnd for Enid and Hester as well.
Yayyyyyyy!!!
Bring on the next batch!
Heck if I know how you do it, letting those kitties leave. I'd have to keep every one of them and become the Crazy Cat Lady!
ReplyDeleteHooray! I'm counting on more pictures very soon, please, new dad!
ReplyDeleteThe best gifts under the tree for the new parents of all four girls!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all,
Patti in KY
P.S. Guys who love cats are the best!!!!
I think it would be physically impossible not to take these two together. They are the most wonderful bookends.
ReplyDeleteWell that's the greatest news we could all hope for - congrats!!
ReplyDeleteAnd hearing from Alicia makes me think back to the story from last Christmas that made us all weepy and happy (and prayerful for Alicia). Anyone who's relatively new to the IBKC ought to go to Maddie's name on the IBK list, then read the posts from the bottom up. It will make your holiday!
ReplyDeleteHooray! Now ~ to make you all jealous, I got to spend time with Laurie, Enid & Hester Sue today! I adore them all, including Laurie.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit, Laurie!
No FAIR, Shana!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could come over and play....but I bet hundreds of people wish that, so I won't ask.
I sure hope Enid & Hester Sue get some incredible homes, too! And soon!
THis is a time of year that is fun for kitties - all that wrapping to "help" with! oooh such joy!
Such great news, I couldn't imagine those girls not finding a home soon...they are so adorable, as are their sisters. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season, and hug your kitties everyday.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I agree w/Patti in Ky, guys who love cats are awesome ;o)
All the LeBath girls are going home for the holidays - that is the best news ever. We all love you kitties! Snorgles!
ReplyDeleteIt's always a bittersweet moment when Itty Bitty's go to their forever homes. Bye Bye Georgette and Miranda, have a lovely life in your new home, it sounds wonderful. I will miss you!
ReplyDeleteHoly crums! That happened in a flash, if I do say so myself. :) Yay for all four of the girls finding forever homes though!
ReplyDeleteAs for not wanting the angel on the top of the tree to be Enid... I lol'd. Seriously. Cute turn of phrase, totally understandable feeling. I'd imagine the kittens getting curious about the decorations is plenty. :)
