It's Milton Monday,,, Again!

milton
Milton and Bunny are back here for a little visit while their parents are out of town. It's so fun seeing them again.

They both are doing great, and have grown so much since they left our nest. They spend every single moment together, romping or sleeping, and really seem to enjoy each other's company. They're a great little unit.

We're still waiting on kittens. It's so strange we don't have some already. Usually by now, the foster room is bursting with kittens. They have been coming in at a very, very slow trickle. It's got to be any day now... just got to be...

  1. Lucky you! To have those sweet babies back for a bit must be great! That last picture will have to go in the next "Tiny tongues and teeth" post.

  2. How lovely that they came back for a visit, and how wonderful to hear that they're such great buddies! Now, is that Bunny's tail that Milton is chomping on?

I also agree with Anne Boleyn...that last picture with the tiny little tongue sticking out is too cute!

  3. The tongue... that tongue!! My little tabby girl does the same thing after she's been licking, it's like something grabbed her attention before it got all the way back in her mouth and it just stops right there. Sort of the way Milton looks, with that sideways look. So, so cute.

  5. Yay for Milton Monday!

I definitely needed this today. He's my favorite Ashby, with Bunny coming in second. Are we going to be treated for delightful pictures of her as well?

I love these images, he definitely has grown up quite bit. He doesn't have that same baby face that he did when he left. It's so cute to see him go after his tail like that. My little Chloe does the same thing, normally in bed at night when I'm trying to fall asleep...

  7. They grow up so quickly! How wonderful that Auntie Laurie got to babysit! I think Charlene is probably very happy, too!

  8. My GOODNESS, I wish I had a Laurie to look after my girls if I had to go away! And yes, Milton is growing up so nicely. And again - a perfect set of pictures. My kitties always benefit from days like this - because I can't get to THOSE kitties, my own get extra snorgles.

  9. I bet Butterbean is happy to see her charges again. I just hope Milton and Bunny don't get confused as to where they live. Milton does look happy though. He was treated well.

Any news on how Clovis & Rupert and Norman are getting on in their new homes?

  11. it is always better to have no babies than tons of babies. shows that the spay/neuter initiative could really be working!

  12. anon - you're exactly right. and as much as we love to have the babies around, the longer it takes for them to arrive the more space remains available for the adult cats at the shelter. they're having a very good year.

  13. Hmm, looks like Bunny's tail to me.

Milton Mondays are marvelous. What a neat sequence of photos. Milton has a wonderfully expressive face, and an adorable pink tongue.

Good news that kittens aren't forthcoming...too many babies out there that need a home...I wish I could take them ALL in.

  17. his features are turning so
much more cat-like, and i love the little 'teenage attitude' in the last photo.
what a little stinker he is turning out to be!
    (I hope that's not bunny's tail!)

  18. Nummm - Fresh Tailitips must taste good

Miss Butterbean, you better give them an extra grooming to make sure they have it down right!

Sigh-hurray no kittens AND boo as well. But this helps ease the pain

  19. Eating his tail? My bro's kitty is always chasing his own tail, that really looks funny...

  23. It's Bob Barker's fault that you don't have any newbies yet! God bless him, nonetheless.
