I had left the bottom drawer in the dresser open the other day. The Ashbys decided that was a lovely spot to nap. I called for the babies, and one by one, the sleepy-heads popped out of the drawer.
That photo of Bunny is adorable. I hope she is settled into her new home! I can't remember which brother is with her? They remind me of one of my cats (now deceased) who loved sleeping in my desk drawer.
A bit more Bunny...please? She is such a pretty little lady! Surely you have a few more pictures of her, Laurie! I hope all the Ashbys are enjoying their new homes - I know their new families have all fallen in love!
1. It's too wonderful, all the sweetness you get from the exquisitely-precious itty bitty kitties....
2. It's a downright blessing - that you share all that sweetness with us. Short of having itty Bitties of our own, your pictures certainly enhance the lives of a lot of us. I can only speak for myself but I can hear the rustling of my fellow commentors lining up behind me.... :o)
Thanks to those who asked for more info on sweet Vincent ~ his story goes like this ...
Gentle 10-year-old Vincent (brown tabby) and his handsome brother Boris (siamese mix) came into the shelter when their owner felt he could no longer care for them. We had hoped to keep them together but the chances of someone wanting two older kitties aren't so great, so we opted to part them. After a few days at the shelter, both brothers were bathed and groomed by our wonderful volunteers Margo & Lois. Prior to that, Vincent was terribly scared and so shy, plastering himself to the cage window, hoping his bad dream would end. Somehow, that bath gave him the confidence he needed to really come out of his shell and tell the world that he deserved a proper home! He spent all day in that pose, clinging to the bars of his cage door, pleading for a timely release. I couldn't resist the photo op. It took a few weeks but his new forever family came in over the weekend and scooped him up! The rest is history.
THAT is one disapproving Bunny face! "how dare you wake me from my beauti-nap!" Norman is so gorgeous (the top photo is Norman right?) I cant wait to see his grown up kitteh pictures, he is going to be SO beautiful!

ReplyDeleteQuickly, Laurie! Go look in the drawer and see if one of them is still there! Then we could have more time with the Ashbys.

ReplyDeleteDid we ever find out which was Clovis and which was Rupert last week? I must have missed it.
