Well, Well, Well,,, Who Do We Have Here??
It's Orson Davenport!!
Just this week I got a nice little update from Orson's mom. I know you all are always asking about him, so I thought you would be excited to hear a little bit about what the boy's up to. Here's what mama Kendra had to say:
As Orson is playing an endless game of fetch with me (yes - he literally is fetching his pipe cleaner toy and bringing it back to me) I thought you might like to hear from us again. Needless to say, Orson is doing great and he's just a perfect cat. He gets along so well with his cat brother "Mr. Bond" and his dog brother "Cooper." He knows his name, is quite social and comes to greet us every time we're gone and return home.
Thanks to Kendra for the update It's so good to see the boy again.
If you've all forgotten how adorable Orson was as a tiny tot... here's a little reminder.

From an adorable itty bitty to quite the handsome (and intelligent) big boy. How wonderful to see him again and hear how well he's doing and how he's wrapped his paw around his new mom's finger!
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh! Orson was my favorite of that batch. I'm so happy to see him :)
ReplyDeletehe grew into his ear hair. What a handsome boy! Christine
ReplyDeleteWell, someone has turned into an elegant and handsome young man. And his Mommy says he is the "he's just a perfect cat". Orson, you are a WOW.
ReplyDeleteOh, he was my absolute favorite from that litter! He's grown up to be such a handsome boy. Thanks for the wonderful update.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful boy! My Maine Coon plays fetch as well with milk jug rings.
ReplyDeleteOh, he is so cute!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Orson update. He is definitely one of my all time favorite members in the esteemed Itty Bitty Kitty Committee and I have been eagerly awaiting this update. Please post more photos whenever they are available! I wish I had adopted this boy. I will never forget the posting in which he gives you the feline equivalent of the bird. I still visit that post occasionally whenever I need a laugh!
ReplyDeleteWell, even though I wasn't following at the time Orson was around it is still nice to see updates - heck, my blog started to keep the nurses at our vet updated as Virgil grew. I always like to hear that kittens have grown up into cats that are thriving.
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see the little kitten picture of Orson on the sidebar of the IBKC site, I wondered about how he turned out. He was my fave Davenport....he is such a beautiful boy, it's great to see him and hear that he's doing well!!
ReplyDeleteORSON!ORSON!ORSON!ORSON!ORSON!
ReplyDeleteI have been consumed with thought about Orson since he went to live with Kendra and have wished and hoped for a photo and THERE HE IS!
He is just as gorgeous an adult kitty as I knew he would be.
Thank You Kendra for sharing this with us, and thank you Laurie for posting!
Yeah! this made my day.
He's quite a handsome mancat!
ReplyDeleteAw, he is looking very handsome! It's no coincidence that all the kittens graduating from the IBKC are extremely social, loving, and well-adjusted.
ReplyDeletehe is very handsome! I love his eyebrows!
ReplyDeleteOrson is my favorite after Charlene! He is so cute!
ReplyDeleteSweet boy! They grow up SO fast. *head shaking*
ReplyDeleteWell I think Orson is even cuter now. I love it when cats recognize their names. Two of the three living here do (the third was abandoned when he was 4 so we don't know his original name). Little Orson seems to have grown into his wonderful home. Thank you for the update on the little guy!
ReplyDeleteLook how big and handsome and floofy he is!!! Love it.
ReplyDeleteNice to see Orson obviously happy and healthy. I'll always remember those wonderful photos of Orson flat on his back and relaxed as a Buddha!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update, Kendra! And the "comparative" photo, Laurie!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a handsome bruiser Mr. Orson has become!
My itty bitty's Inez and Edward both LOVE to play fetch

ReplyDeleteSuch a big pretty boy. All that white is gorgeous next to the tabby.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a handsome boy he's become.
ReplyDeleteWhat a snuggle-worthy big boy! Do we know how much he weighs now? He can't be fully grown yet, but he looks so big in the picture. It can't be all floof, can it?
ReplyDeleteAw - he's growing into such a handsome young cat... and with the Butterbean's tutorage, appears to have learned excellent kitty manners & traits (and how to charm his humans!)
ReplyDeleteOrson! You've grown into such a handsome young man :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much to his new humans for the update
Well, well, Orson is looking good! A big healthy boy....
ReplyDeleteWhat a handsome young man Orson has become! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a handsom fella!!! I used to have a ginger boyfriend who played fetch, with the wadded up & leftover slick coupon circulars. We spent many Sunday mornings playing fetch until he was pooped and my shoulder hurt from throwing.
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful to see our handsome Orson again! And it sounds like dog brother Cooper has been a good influence on him!
ReplyDeleteThanks to Kendra for the update.
Oh my goodness!!! He certainly has grown up well!
ReplyDeletemy how he's grown! it's always amazing how fast they spurt. i always see a little bit of the kittens that my beloved seniors once were..afterall they will always be our babies :O)
