Boys, Bellies, Backsides
I thought I'd post an aerial shot of the Lovejoys Boys so you can see the identifying marks on their backsides.
From left to right, it's Neville, Harlan and Nelson.
You can see Harlan has the most orange, Neville the least, and Nelson has a medium amount.
I love their shapes. I'm not exactly sure how kittens grow, but it seems that they grow rounder, then longer, then taller, then rounder again. Right now, they're in a round phase and they look like stubby little bowling pins.

The most adorable boys! They're the most adorable boys! And my heart wants to say, in the usual way, they're the MOST adorable boys!
ReplyDelete(where did THAT come from? I'm hearing music. . . . which old musical?) Goofy in love, ==Marjorie
How old are they now and when do they go to their new homes ?
ReplyDeleteLove the many stages of kittenhood. Lanky teen months. Baby fat kitten months.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I'm loving these kitties. I need a kitten in the worst way. I already have a cat but I NEED a kitten. ;)
ReplyDeleteJC- They're about 11 weeks now. I'll be announcing when they'll be departing later.
ReplyDeleteNo strikes against them, though! OMG! They are so adorably cute!
ReplyDeleteOh three little orange and white boys with round bellies...melt...
ReplyDeleteY'See, my orange kitty is in a round phase too! It's lasted for a couple of years, tho.
ReplyDeleteAdorable tummies!
The Lovejoys enjoying their meal....
ReplyDeleteI think your description of kitten growth patterns is pretty accurate. My 10 month old boy Colby is in the 'taller' phase.
ReplyDeleteWhen we got our first cat, Magoo, there was always the telltale sign of the huge belly...
ReplyDeleteThen suddenly he would either be longer of taller.
I swear it would happen over the course of a day. We would leave a little wriggler in the morning and come home to this lankly legged clutz.
That is EXACTLY how they grow!
ReplyDeleteOooh - its looooove (but don't tell my girls....please!)
ReplyDeleteSigh!
OMG! Gotta love them bowling pins!
ReplyDeleteThey are growing so fast it seems everytime you take a pic they have grown!!
ReplyDeletewhat a cute photo! they are so sweet with their round bellies. it reminds me of my daughter, her belly would get round and thick and then whoosh! she would need new pants because she had grown taller.
ReplyDeletehugs,
puglette
