Boy am I glad I stopped in for a look!!! How freakin' cute, love the picture of Tressa peeping around the corner at Charlene. All the pics are just awesome Laurie!
Charlene has to be one of the prettiest cats I have ever seen. I do feel a little sorry for her right now. First the kittens go, then her human family left. Sure, her people are coming back but I think poor Charlene must be very lonely right now.
Proving YET once again why Ms. Charlene Butterbean, Foster Mother Extraordinaire, philanthropist, inventor of the patented full-nelson kitten bath, model and social butterfly, is my very favorite four-legged IBKC member of all time.
I heart me some lovejoys with a side of butterbean!
Many, many YAYs from the Cattery! On Saturday (and Saturday alone), Scarlett (14 years old and 20 pounds of sweet love), May, beautiful black & chocolate Ebony, Samuel (adore him), Neushew, Susie, Sugarfoot and 8 kittens all found their new forever homes!! YAY!!
Almost forgot ~ Elmo's owner came for him too! We just don't see enough stray cats claimed by their owners, so when it does happen, we celebrate! YAY for Elmo!!
Awen says it for me too, perfectly! (Thanks, Awen!) I think as much as we all adore ALL the itty-bitties, Charlene is the Queen of our Hearts. Surely the Queen of MINE (with explanatory apologies to Evangeline, La Chat Plus Belle, of course)
Charlene, you is amazin! I mean, dat kitteh is about to get yur TAIL! Who'd do a fing like dat? I mean, I nom Nina's tail, but... but... dat's diffrint, right? Hmmm. Purrs, Victor
Scarlett got adopted??!! There is a special place in heaven for her new family. I volunteered the last two Fridays, and am always so sad to see old kitties waiting for new families, who seem only to want kittens.
We love our cute IBKCs, and know they will be with their first families forever, so always good to hear about special needs cats like Miss Scarlett.
Fainting from the cuteness of Lovejoy's and the Bean!
Shana, such good shelter news - YAY! My last adoptee is an elderly gentleman - skinny and rather unkempt (no matter how much I feed and brush him) - but a purrwerhouse of LOVE!
My girls are so tolerant of the time I take out of THEIR day to visit the IBKC & Miss Butterbean. I always lavish my lovely neaarly 12 and nearly 14 year old kitties with loves and attention.
I was thrilled to see this series - thanks for the "fix".
Ahhhh... kitten babies. Yesterday I got to hold a two-week-old gray kitten (with a perfect triangle of light orange on her forehead). I love the pic where they are thinking about whapping her tail.
Lovely pictures of the babies...On the bed, Charlene must say:"Hey listen children, we set a trap to catch Laurie and we all jump on her Then we give her lots of rubs and licks.....". Oh my gosh, they are sooooooooo sweeeettt... Jeanne
Oh Charlene, you are just the best foster mom for those babies!
ReplyDelete4 & 6 HAVE TO BE new cards!
ReplyDeleteIs that little Harlan about to do something foolish? No, Harlan! Don't pounce on the Bean! She'll roll you and then it'll be bathtime!
ReplyDeleteSo cute how Charlene plays and looks after them...
ReplyDeleteCharlene rocks!!!

ReplyDeleteshe's just a kitten in a cat suit.
ReplyDeleteI can't explain the joy I get from looking at your posts. You must be in heaven every time you step into the kitten room!
ReplyDeleteWe are ALL gonna miss the Lovejoys! Extra scritchies for Charlene!
ReplyDeleteKitties, kitties, everywhere! How fun!!!

ReplyDeleteHer Butterbeaniness is so lucky to have found a family that keeps her steadily supplied with kittens. Some cats are just natural born mammas.
ReplyDeleteI wish I hadn't come here to see those babies. I have spring kitten fever something bad this year!☺
ReplyDeleteWords cannot express how much I love the Butterbean!
ReplyDeleteIt is inconceivable to me that there is a better foster mom, anywhere, than Miss Butterbean.
ReplyDeleteI love these photos but 4,5, and 6 are ones I would like to see as cards. I think 5 is just precious with the beautiful Bean and the precious kittehs!

ReplyDeleteBless her furry Bean heart.
