Oldie But a Goodie
For those of you who've been following the IBKC a while, you've seen this picture before. The kitten is Pierre and he's from our very first litter of fosters. That's my friend Nicholas holding Pierre. He's got another kitten stashed in his pocket, I think it might be Vinny.
Pierre is rolled burrito style because it's time for lunch. (his, not ours) When you're bottle-feeding wiggly kittens, it helps to swaddle them first.
Anyway, I just wanted to post this picture because it always makes me smile. And I hope it makes you smile too.
Have a good Friday, everyone. xoxo Laurie

Kitty burrito's are so cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower so I'm glad you reposted that adorable photo.
ReplyDeleteI love this pic, I've been following for a long time but Pierre was before I joined. But it reminds me of wrapping up our little rescues before we fed them ;o) I miss those days, my babies are 2 years old now! Happy Friday everyone and Happy Mother's day to humans and kitty moms alike.
ReplyDeleteFor sure, it make me laugh: What a cuttie.
ReplyDeleteSo cute, thanks Laurie xoxo
ReplyDeletekitten burritos are the most delicious thing in the universe. thank you for reposting the photo!
ReplyDeleteYes, that photo made me smile. What an adorable little face.
ReplyDeleteSuch an adorable Purrito!
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting this :)
i haven't seen the photo - i'm so gladyou re-posted it! your photos make me so happy - thanks:)
ReplyDeleteHow difficult is it to swadle an ibk? Are they less inclined to wiggle than slightly older ones?
ReplyDeleteI already had lunch, but I will ALWAYS have room for a purrito!
ReplyDeleteMy bottle babies ALWAYS managed to claw their ways out of the feeding towels. Strong little buggers for being orphans.
ReplyDeleteagreed! I've been following for a while, but apparently not long enough!
ReplyDeleteMakes me wonder what my "babies" would do if I tried it with them (since the youngest is just shy of a year old)! =P
Aww, the photo that introduced me to IBKC, because it was featured on Cute Overload.
ReplyDeleteLaurie, have you seen this? is a great idea, isn't?

There's a miniclaw hovering by the fabric of the pocket?
OMG!!
Now I'm all hungry. (kidding!)
ReplyDeleteSOOO sweet. I love it.
Oh, he looks so warm and swaddled and sleepy. Did he fight the confinement or did he put up with it for the sake of getting some formula?
ReplyDeleteTHE BEST!
ReplyDeleteanon and anne f,, they're pretty easy to swaddle. they're wiggly at first, then once they get focused on eating, it usually stops.
ReplyDeleteif you don't wrap them up, it's kind of hard to hold them. they're so tiny.
Iridiscente - what a great link! I'm going to make some for the shelter!
ReplyDeleteIridiscente those are great little hammocks! it's like building a loft in your dorm room !
ReplyDeleteAll the better to nom his adorable li'l ears!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for re-sharing!
Bottle feeding kittens is such a wonderful experience one that I will always cherish. However we never did swaddle them.

ReplyDeleteI love kitten burritos. This one may very well be the cutest.
ReplyDeleteAny news on Pierre now he is a grown-up cat?
ReplyDeleteAnne, My friends' sister adopted Pierre and sister Penny.
ReplyDeleteI do get a P and P update every now and again. They've grown up to be lovely cats. It sounds like Pierre can be quite the rowdy boy.
