Whoo hoo, hey sweetie, come over here and sit by me!!!! Seriously, thank you so much for your fostering efforts, I'm not in a position to do it myself but I;m so glad that you are. And I agree with Julia on the way shaved kitty belly feels, it's wonderful, but it's gone way to fast!
Whoa, Ms Tressa.. getting a little risque, aren't we? :)
Isn't it amazing how much more quickly cats get over their snipped bits than humans do? A woman has a hysterectomy, it's 6 weeks of recovery. Cats... meh.. trying to run around the next day.
Aw, bald kitten bellies are so precious and soft. When my girl came home from her surgery, I was all worried about the incision and the stitches, and she was all, where's my string? where's my ball? let's climb curtains!!! Kittens that get the surgery when they are still little recover so much faster.
Oh my sainted aunt! Tressa, darling, I think you should keep your tummy shaved, at least for summer. Not many can carry off that look w/the panache you do.
Six-year-old Maren had a small section of her tummy shaved recently (her vet needed a closer look at a skin condition), and I'm so sad her lovely white fur is growing back.
She is such a beauty! One thing though, don't you think they shave a bit too much of her belly. That is more than I have seen on most kittehs. I hope it grows back fast. Poor baby, now she will have the permanent folds there. One of my kittehs has that issue.
When my little Pepi got her belly shaved, she was running around as soon as she got home. She wound up popping both stitches before the 2 week healing period was up. It didn't slow her down at all.
meee-ow!
ReplyDeleteOMG, she is really adorable...these little Lovejoys were really the most adorable kittens I've ever seen.
ReplyDeleteThat's almost...indecent! but cute.
ReplyDeleteYay! No more itty bitty parts to cause kitteh overpopulation!
ReplyDeleteI love the way shaved kitty belly feels!
I hope Tressa the magnificent is having a blast at her new home with her brother (whom she is in all likelihood bossing around at this very moment!)
Everything about that girl is more than adorable. Her arm stripes are so Michelle Obama style with their mismatched colors that work so beautifully!
ReplyDeleteGracious me! Isn't this adult content?
ReplyDeleteLook at that little belly. How can you not want to snorgle it? Its irresistable.

ReplyDeleteLittle Tressa, with her badge of honor: the shaved belly!
ReplyDeleteI miss seeing and hearing about the Lovejoys, but I am so happy that they're in their forever homes!!!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great giggle first thing in the morning!
ReplyDeleteWhat a charming girl Tressa is.
ReplyDeleteI bet she is alternating between BOSSing Neville and BATHing him!
With ever so much kitten dignity of course!
Sigh....I will console myself by indulging my furry kids...
