When It's Time to get Clean, You Turn to The Bean

When it's time to get clean, turn to The Bean

Usually by this age, the kittens are pretty good at keeping themselves clean. They love Charlene, but prefer to have her as wresting and romping partner rather than their own personal groomer.

Not Neville, He still loves a good bath from the Buttebean. He'll let her lick him from head to tail, ear to ear, and purr the whole time she's doing it.

  3. Neville is a momma's boy. I love that Charlene takes to each batch of kittens so well. What a good foster mother.

  5. You know what kills me the most? Look at the Bean's hold on Neville! She's got him in the patented Bean Grip.

I love that Beam. And I'm secretly disappointed Laurie isn't actually giving her away. She'd be mine by hook or crook!

  6. Charlene's saying: "You could grow spuds behind these ears, there's so much muck! I don't know, young kittens these days. Now when I was young...."
Oh, ok, so she's an American cat....so does she say "potatoes"?

  7. Is there anything more adorable than one kitty giving another a bath? My roommate's cat Ginny tries to groom my Smokey, but Smokey's not too keen on the idea. It's too bad, I'd love to watch. However, Smokey will occasionally deign to groom Ginny, and I just melt anytime I see it.

  17. Sarah, I'll arm wrestle you for the next Butterbean bath. :)

Super news from the Cattery ~ my dashing boyfriend Tyrone was adopted today! It was love at first sight for us, but I still let him go. He's a very handsome 2-year-old black & white boy who now lives with a human toddler. He's the perfect first cat for that little guy.

And big YAYs for sweet Bianca, Missy, and Jewel who all found their new forever homes too! Plus, big boy Tonka is going to a rescue organization! Today is a good day to be a cat.

  21. Some cats were born to be mamma cats, and some cats were born to be baby cats.

I had a pair like that once. The older cat adopted the new kitten, and they kept on as mamma and kitten for years, with the bathing and the nursing and the whole nine yards.
