brilliant. some wonderful photos here, and such adorable little subjects.
my faves are the Tressa and Neville Tango, Nelson and the inside out ear, and of course the sunbeam spotlight. this bunch had such an abundance of personality and cuteness.
Flipped back ear alert!! I also love the one with the conspiratorial whisper.. You wonder what sort of mischief is being planned. Ah, that little mischievous gleam in Tressa's eyes means that nothing good is up. :)
Laurie's skill as a photographer and her ability to capture such moments just continues to improve and amaze me.. but with such photogenic little cuties as this, it's hard not to get great shots. Mine just sit around like lumps on logs most of the time.. or the few where they're being cute the camera is always in the other room, dangnabbit.
Laurie, are you using a large-ap lens to get that great DOF?
I completely agree. The kittens are so beautiful and the photographs are brilliant. Nice that such great subjects can be captured by someone with such skill. And they grow up so fast! Laurie, thanks so much!
oh.. i'll miss these little lovejoys. the 3 boys - remind me of my max when he was mini like them. yep - he's an orange and white boy. terribly smart and loyal to me.
btw. you've inspired me to look into fostering here in cache co, utah.
I'm a certified crazy cat lady but I also have a degree in photography. Your photos are really superb. I hope some smarty pants publisher scoops you up for a book deal.
I just realized that one of the best things about adopting from IBKC must be that you get such lovely baby pictures of your kitties... from an amazing kitten photographer.
Katinka, that is so true. We have framed pictures of baby Maddie (and Charlene!) all over the house, so we get to enjoy them every day. I always wish we had the same for our other animals.

I must say, Tressa must have been a photographers dream. She's just lovely- a little living swirl of colors!

ReplyDeleteThey were gone way to soon for us - but none to soon for their furever families. I hope we'll get some "look at them now" pics in the future!
To this day, Tressa has been my favorite IBKC kitten. I will miss her!

My oh my they look so grown up compared to the current little Darlings!!! You make these kittens so strong and healthy. You're the best.
ReplyDeleteA book deal is a great idea! Such great photos. You inspire me to try and take better photos for my own foster blog!
