Charlene Butterbean-Counter
I just got done meeting with our fundraising campaign's financial advisor, Charlene Butterbean-Counter. She seemed to think that our initial goal of $3000 was much too modest, and suggested we raise it a tad.
After doing a little number crunching, she decided that five squillion dollars would be a realistic goal.
Five squillion, Charlene? I think you got your toe-nail caught on the zero. Let's try five thousand instead.
We're off to such a great start! Thanks to all of you who added to the "kitty". We appreciate all your support!!

superb idea, charlene! a sqillion sounds just purrfect!!
ReplyDeleteWho could resist that face?
ReplyDeleteYes! IBKC represent!
ReplyDeletehaha, charlene, you rule.
ReplyDelete5 squillion? Is that more or less than a bazillion? :)
ReplyDeleteWhatever, it's probably still not enough for deserving kitties.
I nominate Charlene for the federal deficit reduction committee!
ReplyDeleteIf they do not succumb to those GORGEOUS eyes, she will give them a Butterbean bath!
Go IBKC!!!
Beauty and brains!!! She's the real deal!
ReplyDelete5 Squillion? That a girl! It's always good to aim a little high!
ReplyDeleteWhen did Charlene get married? And who is this Counter person??
ReplyDeleteDeodand -
ReplyDeleteit took me a second, but I'm still guffawing.
Whoever it is, I'm glad she put her fuzzy paw down and demanded that her maiden name was the first name.
Charlene, I beleive your initial calculations are correct. 5 squillion seems like a purrfectly reasonable goal!
ReplyDeleteROFL, Deodand!
A squillion sounds good, really good. After all, with the kittens you have in the house right now they could charm all the birds from the trees!
ReplyDeleteI think the appropriate term is: squeeeee-llion. Especially with the toe-hawk providing extra accuracy.
ReplyDeleteHow can anyone say "no" to that face?
ReplyDeleteI cannot get enough of looking at Charlene!
ReplyDeleteGo Charlene, she's raising the bar on us all! Glad to help out for a VERY worthy cause, the kitties (and all the other furry friends) deserve it, big time!
ReplyDeleteFive squillion doesn't sound too bad, I mean, she does have a calculator, it must be correct!
ReplyDeleteCharlene is as gorgeous as everyone says... but what's making me say "Huh!" is the calculator. I had that same wallet-style non-graphing scientific calculator in high school, and so did one or two of my friends. I'd forgotten that until just now. I believe there were both Casio and Radio Shack branded versions, too; mine said "Casio".
ReplyDeleteHuh!
Deodand is making me snicker!
ReplyDeleteCharlene is definitely ready for a career in high finance. She'd probably do better than most of those CEOs out there.
Anon,, squillion is bazillion squared.
ReplyDeleteTheo,, it's Craig's, from highschool, at it's a casio! still works. still use it.
Actually, my eye was caught by the calculator, too! I had one just like what you're describing, and I even think I got it from Radio Shack! That was my number one calculator until I was obliged to go graphing calc in hs. I wonder where the old girl is right now...
ReplyDeleteAhhh.. reflections of (former) math nerd.
Next spring, I may hire Charlene to do my taxes. That gorgeous face would soften the blow.
ReplyDeleteA squee-llion is the truth, given all the cute kitties past and present. We could probably do it, too! *grins*
ReplyDeleteThe best sort of economic recovery insentive: cute kitty cats! :)
Charlene -- so gorgeous. Her slightly crossed eyes make her even more gorgeous! I love her.
ReplyDeleteShe's so cute. She looks cross-eyed.
