All Dressed Up and Ready to Go!
Right before their adopters arrived, the girls slipped into their new collars and tags. All of a sudden, they looked quite grown up.
I guess they kind of are. Our babies are barely babies anymore. When you see them everyday, you don't always notice they're getting bigger.
After they left, I scrolled back through the blog (a little trip down memory lane) to their very first days. They we're quite tiny when they came to us. You can see in their eyes they were a wee bit scared too. Then I scrolled forward through the blog and watched them blossom again.
What beautiful kitties they are.

All dressed up the gorgeous girls!! They look like they are going for a good nite out!!Yes Laurie, they blossomed so beautifurly...
ReplyDeleteWhat a precious photo. I love the way the girls are so close, kinda snuggled up against each other. Let's hear it for Sisterhood!
ReplyDeleteYou are doing a wonderful job. For all the little girls and boys. You are so very lucky.......I just love your stories.
ReplyDeleteAll going the same home Laurie?
ReplyDeleteI wish them all well... :)
Martin, the previous post will answer your question.
ReplyDeleteThey look all snazzy all dressed up! May they go to forever homes and be loved all their life!
ReplyDeleteFRANCIIINNNEEEE...... NOOOOO! Okay, I know we're not supposed to have favorites, they're all adorable and precious etc., butbutbut...FRANCINE. Ever since the first Darling post when she imperiously let us know that she was not a Lovejoy, thank you very much, I have been in love with that fuzzy fussy face. I must comfort myself with my fat smelly red boy (whom I love to pieces, but one more time FRANCIIINNNEEE!!!!)
ReplyDeleteAaaah! What a lovely bunch of Darlings! And, yes - they did look rather anxious in the first days. But, look at them now!
ReplyDeleteI honestly felt like this little group of Darlings was very special - maybe the special-est of all IBKs (at least for me.) Not that I haven't loved them all (sends warm love over the Rainbow Bridge to Bernadette and the sweetest little guy ever - Jerry Lee!) But - these Darlings...were way beyond darling!
They're still tiny. Their tags look huge on them.
ReplyDeleteYes, Laurie, they are lovely...thanks to you, who gave them all such a wonderful start in life.
ReplyDeleteThey are all going to be great cats!!!
I hope they write now and again to keep us posted! Or maybe even blog!
Awww, great picture!
ReplyDeletePlease we need a card of all the darling Darlings. Or at least Selma/Francine...and Rhoda...and Lucinda...and what the heck, Hubie. Yup, that should do it.
ReplyDeleteWhat poised, elegant young ladycats!
ReplyDeletei am missing francine already - sweet little ball of floooof!
