Francesca, the lucky winner of naming right to our 4th Fortunato, bid all the way from London, England! These kitties have fans all over the world!
Francesca has chosen a sophisticated name which is perfect for our dapper little man.
Introducing... Gaetano James Fortunato!!!
Thanks you so much Francesca, for your generous bid. I told sweet Gaetano what his name is and he wanted me to tell you that he approves and thanks you too. Then he started making
Wow, so sophisticated....in fact, so much so that I don't know how to pronounce it! Could we get a lesson, please, so we aren't butchering the little cutie-pie's name? (and, what are the origins?)
ReplyDeleteLaurie, wow, you should take all your pics of blue-eyed IBKs in front of that gorgeous drapery. Holy cow, they are BLUE!
What a beautiful shot -- who would have thought his eyes could appear any bluer!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a handsome name for a handsome fella!
Biscuits? With all these Italian names, I think he was probably kneading pizza dough!
ReplyDeleteSarah, I think it's pronounced "Guy--like guys & dolls--tahn-- (think wand without the 'd') o" as in "oh you beautiful doll" -- Gaetano. But then I'm of Irish heritage and would feel much more at ease describing the pronounciation of Aloysius.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, little Mr. Gaetano James, your name is just as splendidlas are you. Way to go, Francesca.
handsome, handsome, handsome!!! He's the james bond of this new batch of kittens!
