Usually towards the end of their stay with us, we allow our fosters to come upstairs and do a little exploring. It's quite exciting for the kitties when their world nearly doubles in square footage.
Upstairs, there are two windows ledges to perch on which offer wonderful views of the neighborhood. There are excellent sun patches to nap or romp in, a bed and lots of chairs to hide under, a surplus of toys and lots of carpeting.
Here are some shots of the happy little Musselmans exploring The Great Upstairs with their pal, Butterbean.
Does Drewey tolerate this sort of invasion of her domain?
ReplyDeleteoh i love the back lit-fuzzy kitten pics, they are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteso Laurie this is a nice and gently way of breaking it to all of us that the Musselman litter is about to go for their forever homes.

ReplyDeleteThose itty bitty kitten tails, perfectly highlighted by sunbeams; they just slay me. Such beautiful photos of the fuzzy babies! Best wishes to the Musselmans and their furever homes.
ReplyDeleteWhat everyone has already said. I was blown away by the iridescence!
ReplyDeleteI hadn't realized how small a two pound kitten was until I got to play with one on Sunday. They're SO small and SO scatterbrained.
ReplyDeleteThe IBKs look so much larger in the pictures.

ReplyDeleteI will sure miss this beautiful litter, especially as I just had an itty bitty houseguest for a week who has markings like Benny. Ah, if only I could indulge in another kitty or three!
Lovely photos. I love how the backlighting just make their fur glow... and that last picture of Arthur on his back, so wonderful.
