Yesterday when I came home from the grocery store, I unloaded the goods, and threw my bag on the chair. Perry dropped what he was doing, leaped up on the chair, and burrowed into the bag to investigate. One by one, the kittens joined in on the excitement.
The bag was perfect. It was large enough to contain all four kittens at once, and it made a the most wonderful rustling noise while they wrestled inside of it.
They played hard for a good half hour, taking turns being inside it and out, then one by one, fell asleep on top of the bag.
OH boy, THAT was very fun.
I always appreciate the enthusiasm kitties have towards anything new in their world.
all that excitement surely warranted a good snuggle-nap. how in the world do you ever get anything done?
ReplyDeleteI love the last picture -- I love kittens
ReplyDeleteThey need a cardboard box. That's like Disneyland for cats.
ReplyDeleteaww.... i want to snuggle with them:)
ReplyDeleteWhat great pictures, Laurie. One of the great things about kittens is their endless sense of wonderment.
ReplyDeleteAwwww! I want a bag of kittens. I love how kittens play and play...then just drop off and nap.

ReplyDeleteAwww! Bags is GOOD toys. Kitties are irresistable!
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of the story in which a whole mess o' forest animals finds refuge from a snow storm inside a mitten. It stretches and stretches to accommodate a fox, rabbit, hedgehog, bird, etc.
ReplyDeleteIn this case, the gorgeous shopping bag is a perfect backdrop for the Drapers' beautiful coloring. So sweet.
How cute! And kudos to you for using reusable grocery bags!
ReplyDeleteIs it my imagination or is this litter just *especially* dear? Maybe I am biased because of the tortie who looks so much like my baby.
ReplyDeleteHats, vases, bags ... these kittens are cave explorers!
ReplyDeleteHee hee! I love the pile o' sleeping kittens. :)
ReplyDeleteI sleeping intrepid Drapers!
