Oh! I just want to snorgle that cutie! I'm actually moving into a house soon (if everything works out, of course), which would allow me to get a cat without paying silly deposit fees and worrying about where to squeeze in a litter box. For the past couple years I've followed your blog and planned to get a kitten from you someday. I probably won't be in time to get Millie, but she's super cute!
On location in deepest, darkest Africa with Marlon Perkins, we find the able Jim uniquely positioned with his camera to capture the exotic and never-seen hunting rituals of the rare Miniature Marmycat (Felis Ittybittyus Orangecatus).
Watch as this diminutive but fearsome predator stalks her prey -- whiskers quivering, ears and eyes attentive, even her tail provides sensory input as it identifies changes in wind direction. She is alert to every aspect of the hunt. She crouches -- lithe muscles tensing and relaxing -- until at the perfect moment, SHE STRIKES!
The herd of striped Adidas Sliders is no match for her prowess. The pride will feast tonight.
So sportive! Millie has an athletic streak all right :)
ReplyDeleteMillie moves at a million microns/minute!
ReplyDeleteWonder what Charlene will think of her?
RAWR! That's telling them shoes..
ReplyDeleteWonder what got her attention off to the side that she had to rush off? Probably one of her brothers..
Are you quarantining in a different room now? (OK, that sounds kinda creepy, that I know your house so well from the internet... O_o )
ReplyDeleteI wonder if she likes the nubbly soles on her paws. She's so lovely and funny - reminds me of my darling Zozo as a baby.

Oh man, what a good little huntress she is! Just has to grow up a little more, and she'll be strong enough to carry her prey back home...
ReplyDeleteI love this video!
ReplyDeleteMillie is so adorable...can't stand it...must watch again and again...pouncing is such fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun being a kitten. I love the arched back/puffy tail pose and the dash off screen. Zoom zoom.
ReplyDeleteAfter this, won't all other toys be rather pedestrian? ;)
ReplyDeleteThe perfect antidote to law school stress is watching a tiny kitten playing in a pair of shoes. :)
