Every morning, it's always the same. I open the door to the kitten room and out they run, headed straight for the kitchen in search of their breakfast. It's not just The Drapers that do this. Every single litter we've ever fostered did the very same thing. If you ask Sue, she'll tell you her kittens do the breakfast dash too.
Here's a little clip of their dash the other day. Enjoy!
Well, it's hardly a surprise, is it? If I were that young and spent my nights perfecting endearing gestures for the humans' benefit, I'd have worked up an appetite too. ;)
I can't view vimeo videos on AOL. I have to switch over to Internet Explorer everytime you post a vimeo video. Any ideas why? Obviously, I have everything I need to view them if it works in IE. Its frustrating having to switch over to see little kitty goodness.
So cute! And guess what? They ALWAYS do the breakfast and dinner dash. My long past kittenhood kitties are the same way. :) They are adorable, though. Lucky lucky future parents of these Draper cuties!
My kitties do the dinner dash, right at 5:30 everynight they race to the front door to wait for my husband and start begging for kitty food. They then run to the cupboard and have to "approve" the can and flavor he gives them. It is so adorable, they seem to have developed this routine while I worked evenings for about a year
Oh I love Millie running so fast at the end! My kitties morning ritual involves standing next to my head on the pillow and 'gently' poking my face with her paw if I hit the snooze too many times. She was very confused by daylight savings time.
My foster kittens would always do this, too! We'd call it the "kitten stampede." It's amazing how noisy their little paws can be thundering on a wooden floor as they run!
a.d.o.r.a.b.l.e!
ReplyDeleteHooray! I am now able to view the video posts! Scurrying, mewing cuteness abounds!
ReplyDeleteThat little Gordon, always the ringleader!
ReplyDeleteHungry kittehs!
ReplyDeleteAll those tiny mews were a perfect wake-up call.

ReplyDeleteDon't all kitties do that? ;) Very cute.
ReplyDeleteThe tiny little mews! I'm so glad I have my own office b/c this kind of cuteness causes me to make funny faces and dance around in my chair.
ReplyDeleteAnd heck, even I do a breakfast dash. :)
Woot! Kitteh dash!
ReplyDeleteAnd, I distinctly heard Millie say, "Julia, come get me."
