Altogether they look like some kind of kitteh posse, Millie posing as the leader of the gang (therefore not needing modesty) and the black one watching oover the group.
Are the kitties licking the shaved parts a lot? My long-haired kitty did not like it when they shaved off part of her front paw fur for her surgery last year.
And Millie becomes cover-kitty for the Tacoma Humane Society's Facebook profile! I actually saw this awesome pic on Facebook first, and I had to rush on over here to get the story!
Miss Millie looks gorgeous and unapologetic about it!
It's a badge of honor, Miss Millie. Wear it proudly!!!
oh my she looks like one of those 'nasty nudes' photos from the days of the OK corral. so very suggestive, yet tastefull, since she has her brothers there to protect her. (and her gorgeous sissy there as well)
Good grief - how much bare-nakedness does a vet require? No wonder Millie is showing her tummy to the world: "Look, everyone, my vet has a new shaver!"
This should be up as a poster in every Humane Society - it promotes cat fostering and adoption (because, obviously, these are the cutest kittens ever, and the looks in their eyes practically scream "you know you want to take us home and love us!"), and it promotes spaying!
Reclining near nude! She looks like she doesn't give a rat's patoot, or maybe it's the Darvocette.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to be so sad to see the Drapers go...
ReplyDeleteThat black-orange kitteh looks awesome.
ReplyDeleteAltogether they look like some kind of kitteh posse, Millie posing as the leader of the gang (therefore not needing modesty) and the black one watching oover the group.

It IS going to be hard to sat bye to this sweet crew!
webbthistle, you took the words right of my mouth. SNORGLE!
ReplyDeleteThe caption I'm seeing here is:

The boys look VERY interested. I don't blame them :)

ReplyDeleteI love the brother possessive paw "There are many nekkid kitty bellies in the world, but this one is mine, my sister".
ReplyDeleteI love the look on Luella's face!
ReplyDeleteAh but her legs are crossed as any proper lady would do!
ReplyDeleteAwwww....look at those babies!!
ReplyDeleteThis really does look like an excellent poster for spaying/neutering kitties!

This made me think of Manet's Dejeuner Sur L'herbe.
ReplyDeleteAwww, Millie, your belly is so enticing! Snorles!
ReplyDeleteYou said it, webbthistle!! Definitely poster worthy!! Now I've got to run off and see the THS Facebook page! Way cool, Laurie!
ReplyDelete(And snorgles, Millie! Congratulations! You are now a responsible girl kitteh!)
Wow, what a great portrait of the kits!
ReplyDeleteMiss Luella is doing her tortie best to blend into the shadows though!!!
Awesome image for a spay\neuter poster!
Huh - US vet spay via the belly? They go in through the flank over here - makes for much quicker and easier healing.
ReplyDeleteGood grief - how much bare-nakedness does a vet require? No wonder Millie is showing her tummy to the world: "Look, everyone, my vet has a new shaver!"
ReplyDeleteSo cute ~ and we're glad to hear the floof is already growing back so she'll look even more adorable.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pose, Miss Millie!
