Both boys were quite bouncy today. They were both awake when I arrived, and playing in their cardboard box. Walter was gnawing away on it, Ira was rolling around inside, batting at the flaps.
I brought them into the foster room again and set them up on the table (AKA the exercise yard). They had lots of visitors, both staff and volunteers. They also got a chance to meet Traci's chihuahua, Tobey.
Things are looking very good, and I am hoping they will be paroled on Monday. Ira has gained another ounce, and Walter gained two. They're getting a little stir-crazy in their cage, now that they're feeling so much better.
Thanks again for all you care and concern. We appreciate it so much.
xoxo G'night.
So glad to hear they are doing well. I hoped they get paroled soon too!
ReplyDeleteYEEESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteTerrific news! Stir-crazy is the best possible description to read about Ira and Walter. So glad that they are doing better, and have a good chance to be back home for Christmas!
ReplyDeleteWatch the Seattle papers for this headline:

Aided by Lady Cat Gang Leader
Hoooooraaaaaaaaaaay!
ReplyDeleteWatch out, Charlene!
ReplyDeleteI bet Drewey's happy! Even if they can't meet Charlene right away, their scampering and mewing should keep her glued to the kitten room door. :-)

ReplyDeleteNow, Ira and Walter - that was all very amusing, but no more scaring the humans and Charlene, you hear me?
This was all a ploy to get adopted quickly, wasn't it boys? I'm guessing it worked. You've won everyone over!
ReplyDeleteYes Virginia - there is a Santa Claus! The best Christmas gift ever - healthy and happy Walter and Ira.
ReplyDeleteStay "firm" boys!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to a headline or two this week...

ReplyDeleteWebbthistle, that's a great headline. In the article will it mention something about a poster of Charlene Butterbean on the cage wall, hiding the escape hole? Its Finchshank Redemption!

ReplyDeleteWoot! Better news every day! :D
