While Craig packed his suitcase for a quick family visit, Walter climbed inside to investigate. He burrowed in it for awhile, and Ira joined him too. Eventually he settled in and drifted off to sleep, slightly reclined, and belly up.
My cats always climb into my suitcases too.. probably wanting to join me on the road. As much as I'd love to take them along, SOMEone has to stay home and guard the house!
Such a sweet pose. Our cats, especially Maren, love to help us pack. When we arrive at our destination and find cat hair on our clothes, we say, "Oh look. The kids seasoned our clothing!"
One of the volunteers at our cat rescue makes cat beds out of vintage suitcases because of this whole cat/suitcase fascination. They are so cute! Not as cute as these itty-bitties of course, but still cute.
Walter's traveling in style! Please get him a complimentary blanket, place that bag of honey-roasted nuts on his serving tray and hold his meal for later (he'll have the fish).
that is so hilarious...I think Walter is travelling on 1++ class..what a cute baby.. he is already in the lovely cuddly cloud..Enjoy the journey little Walter..
I have never seen kittens lay on their back SO much I love it! Super cute. My cat always climbs in or on my suitcase I think they are secretly begging us not to go.
what is it with cats and suitcases?
ReplyDeleteOh jeez, you are killing me with the cuteness!
ReplyDeleteI already loved Walter because he shares his name with my late father.
ReplyDeleteAs a result of his ability to fall asleep in unlikely places, we always said my dad could "sleep on a clothes line".
Anybody believe in reincarnation??

ReplyDeleteThat has to be the most adorable thing I've seen all day.
ReplyDeleteMy motto is never let sleeping cats lie - especially when they are curved just right for a face to fit in the belly!
ReplyDeleteAwww...the kitty is so cute,my kitty does that too.
