It's true, it's time. Our little Finches have been fixed, met their family, and are moving on. I know how hard you fell for this pair and how sad you'll be to say goodbye. They've found a very nice family, so you need not worry. They will be loved and adored.
I'll give you more details on their family later, for now, lets enjoy our last days with the dear sweet boys.
But... but... they just got here! *wail*
ReplyDeleteOMG! I actually had a little gaspy tight throat thing happen when I read this. It IS great news, but..... sob.
ReplyDeleteThat's great news! We're going to miss them of course but it's great to know they've already been spoken for. Poor Butterbean. It seems like she only gets to see each group of IBK for just a few days before they get adopted. Good luck Finches!
ReplyDeleteI know you'll tell us more, but are they going together?
ReplyDeleteIt's always so sad to see them go, even when we know they're going somewhere wonderful.
But it also gives us the excitement of new itty bitty kitties!!
congratulations walter and ira! may you bring much joy and love to your new family, and vice versa!
ReplyDeletecarys

Aw, I'm going to miss them. How can you bear to say goodbye to such cute-pies?
ReplyDeleteLucky new family - and lucky Walter and Ira to have found a home.
Best of luck!
but but but... are you *sure*??
ReplyDeleteI know, you are sure and you've picked a wonderful family for them.
It's just that, you know, we were so worried about them for a while - it seems especially hard to think that they're grown-up enough to leave.
Congratulations to Walter and Ira for "graduating" and to their new family!
I still want it added into the contract that periodically submitting photos of the cats is mandatory. I love seeing how they grow.
ReplyDeleteDear new forever family for the Finches, the Flickr Group for IBKC Alumni is here. Any pictures submitted would be much appreciated!
ReplyDeleteAre you saying that they are both going to the same family?
ReplyDeleteso so glad they are staying together (assumed by your statement "a family"
ReplyDeleteyes, they're going together.
ReplyDeleteSuch good news for the little boys. I'm so glad to hear they've done so well - and I must say they're growing into quite the handsome pair. All the best to the both of them, and to their new family!
ReplyDeleteBye-bye, little boys! You were enjoyed! You've been such little troopers getting over your tummy troubles and growing into big, strong young mancats!

ReplyDeleteWhooohooo for brothers staying together.
ReplyDeleteYEA!! They're going to be together!
ReplyDeleteMy mom will be so thrilled by this news! She has a soft spot for these boys, ever since meeting them so long ago.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the news, Laurie. And big YAYs to the Finch bro's and their new family!
Hang on there ~ are they going to my mom's house? :)
Oh, what a lucky family and what fortunate little guys! I'll try not to be too sad missing those itty bitty faces.
ReplyDeleteI am so thrilled they are staying together! They are a special pair, these little Finches!
ReplyDeleteIt's always a mixture of joy and sadness hearing that yet another set of itty bitty kitties are on their way out. Good luck to the darling Finches and may they live very happy, close-knit, playful lives. *small tear*
ReplyDeleteGood luck little Finches!
ReplyDeleteWonderful that the boys are going together to their forever family!! Lucky Finches! Lucky family! Looking forward to hearing the details and hoping for updates as Walter and Ira grow.
ReplyDeleteWe have fallen in love with these boys and not sure if we will ever be the same...that is one lucky family! :D
ReplyDeleteThe Van Dyke Family
These little Finches were perhaps my all time favorite, and that's really saying something since I prone to love the Tabbies that have been lucky enough to be part of your family. I took a deep breath when you said they are leaving.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck and blessings to you and the Finch boys!
Oh, yay! They're flying the coop together! Doesn't get any better than that! Give them extra snorgles from all their fans out here!
ReplyDeleteThose Finch Boys. So adorable. I'm so glad that they stole all of our hearts and will be adored beyond measure (while all the time adoring right back) by their new family. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, and Bean is the BEST!
ReplyDeleteOh, this brings a tear to my eye! I will miss those little Finches and am a little jealous of this very lucky family!
ReplyDeleteHave great lives little guys! We'll miss you.
ReplyDeleteBye bye boys! I'm going to miss you, but I know you're going to have a wonderful life with your new family.
ReplyDeleteThey are the cutest little guys. I hope they have a great time as they grow up together.
ReplyDeleteI'll miss you, you sweet little boys! But I know your forever family will love you very much. *sniff* You've been through so much already, I wish you health and happiness with your new family. They are lucky to have you!
ReplyDeleteI've had a horrible couple of days, so I know I'm overreacting, but this sucks.
ReplyDeleteI assure you, nothing sucks about this. These amazing little kittens found an amazing family to adopt them. Nothing but good.
ReplyDeleteOh Finchies, how I'll miss your sweet little faces. If your new family loves you as much as this community (and I'm sure they will, how could they not?), all's well that end's well.
ReplyDeleteI will miss the daily fix of Finches, but I KNOW we will see a new, amazing and cute new litter soon.
ReplyDeleteCharlene - please do not hassle Miss Drewey TOO much while you wait!
And Purrs to all the members of this super community!
Hurray to the Adoptive Family!!! They are getting 2 wondefully adorable boys. And that means MORE KITTENS!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to see them go -- but I'm so happy they're big and strong and healthy boys and ready to steal their forever family's hearts! Good luck, adorable little Finches! May the catnip always be potent, the sleeping spots always be warm and soft, and may you have wonderful lives!
ReplyDeleteWe know the Fnches need a loving forever home ~ so we're glad their story has a happy ending. But it's SO hard to see them go ... we will miss them.
ReplyDeletePerhaps we'll get updates from time to time, abowt how they are progressing.
Good luck and smoochies for them.
I love to see the kittens thrive under your and Beans care Laurie, they were kind of scrauny-little dirty kittehs when they arrived and now they are healthy with beautiful coats and clear bright eyes! ready to tear in to someone elses house ( and drapes and furniture and....) I am so glad they will go to a nice home, because that is the point isnt it!
ReplyDeleteYeah for the little Finches! god speed guys!
What a lucky family! The Finch boys are going to fill their lives with so much laughter and play and love. And Laurie, we trust you and your associates to pick the kind of family that will assure them plenty of love, care, and full kitty tummies.
ReplyDeleteGoodbye little sweeties, and safe travels to you! Your new caretakers are very lucky to have you. I hope you get only the best of noms and as many sunny windows as you can handle.
ReplyDeleteNooooooo! (;_;)
ReplyDeleteI know. Thanks, Laurie. It does occur like bad news when I've been using them like a crutch.
ReplyDeleteI guess it's because there were only two of them that everyone, myself included, got so into these ones. I'm sure you feel the same way.
Oh baby Finchies, much love to you...
ReplyDeleteYay! I'm so happy they are happy and healthy and staying together forever! Well done, Laurie - I know you found a good family for our little Finches.
ReplyDeleteWalter and Ira - I wish you long happy lives full of adoring humans, belly rubs, toys, treats, and sunbeams to nap in.
