Charelene feels she really has everything a cat could want (except for a tasty batch of kittens) so she decided that on her birthday, she might do a little giving herself.
We picked up a few bags of cat and kitten food to donate to the Humane Society's food bank and we think we might just make this a birthday tradition.
She thinks it makes her feel better than a full belly of cake does.

Oh Happy Day Charlene! In your honor our Mom adopted a new kitty today! She was fostered with her 5 kittens (3rd litter in a year!!!) As soon as she's had her itty bitty bits taken care of, she'll be coming to our forever home (really, we've been here over 18 years.)

ReplyDeleteThat's what I requested for my Christmas and my family, between them all, kindly mustered $200 worth of dog and cat food which went to the Tacoma/Pierce County HS. That and a box of Frangos is all I need for any holiday;)
ReplyDeleteMy girls have asked me to put donations to a shelter near our various homes instead of more toys for their collection.
ReplyDeleteWe also review their collection of toys for goodies to drop off at the HS in Bellevue when I play "pet food fairy".
