Last week, Roxanne and Ian came by for a kitten meet and greet. Viv and Ted had been playing hard all morning, and were starting to settle down when they arrived. The kittens jumped into their laps to say hello. They wrestled around, napped on and off, and enjoyed batting at the lens cap dangling from Roxanne's camera.
The kittens were comfortable and at ease, and as sweet and charming as can be. They quickly stole the hearts of Roxanne and Ian.
While Roxanne and Ian are busy preparing their home for a bouncy pair of kittens, we're getting ready to say goodbye.
It's been a pure joy knowing Viv and Ted. We sure will miss them, and I know you will too.
oh the last picture made me tear up!!
ReplyDeleteAww! That last picture is pure love. The "smile" of a content kitty is priceless.
ReplyDeleteHooray for the Spooners. Wonderful news and such lucky new parents!
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely ! I like th eway they play with the camera.
ReplyDeleteI think one of the best things you do is manage to place so many of the kitties with at least some of their siblings.
ReplyDeletei'll be sad to see them go but happy that they will have a forever home!
ReplyDeleteis it me or are their markings coming out a lot more now as they're getting older? i didn't notice them much in the earlier pictures but now they're a lot more obvious.
I am thrilled they are going off together as a pair but will miss them!
ReplyDeletems borderline -- me too (teary)!! But in a good way... I'm so happy for all concerned... "almost goodbye" to the sweet white little furballs!!
ReplyDeleteI will miss the Spooners because they remind me of my own Artemis, who has quite the personality, and I wish I could have adopted them myself!
ReplyDeleteI will miss these two sweeties as well...but am delighted that they have found a home together. And folks - did you notice? Roxanne and Ian have A CAMERA! hint - hint!
ReplyDeleteAnd it looks like Ted is trying to take up tweeting - so let's stay in touch, Spooners!
I can practically hear the purring in that last pic. Bye lil' Spooners.
ReplyDeleteMaximus Spittimus would like me to say that you are great Two Legs for looking after these kitties. His Two Legs do the same for Britain's Cats Protection. The lady Two Legs cries when kitties leave for new homes. The Man Two Legs doesn't. (honest)

A heavy happy sigh from me and my critters.
ReplyDeleteA word of advice to the new owners of two floofmeisters: I just got a white kitten a few months ago, and she's not nearly as fluffy as these two. Invest in some sort of good cat hair picker upper.. lol.. Hm, don't know if I can say brand names on here, but get the ones with the two roller thingies, by the company with the same name as the OATH of Allegiance. :) If you get my drift..
ReplyDeleteBy the way, you need only one. They say to throw them out when they're full, but you can pull the end of one of those rollers out, pull out the amazing hairball that will fill up the chamber, and re-use. They. Work. Great!
Bye Bye little Spooners...I sure am going to miss you two beautiful kitties. I know you will have a happy life though and I'm so glad you get to stay together. Debbie
ReplyDeleteOh they are adorable. Looks like they are going to have a nice life.
ReplyDeleteWebthistle said it first! Camera + Spooners = prettee pleeeeeez from the IBKC community.
