While You Were Sleeping...
While you were sleeping, I stuck my paw in your bedside water glass.
Then I sat on your chest and watched you sleep with your mouth wide open.
I followed Drewey downstairs and sat by her while she had a snack in the kitchen.
Then I chased Drewey upstairs and poked her in the butt using a single toenail.
I watched QVC and ordered a heated pet bed. I paid for it using your credit card. (Just 3 easy payments of $49.99 and if I'm not fully satisfied I can return it)
I licked the remote control.
I chewed on your ipod headphones.
I took a bath on the dining room table.
Then I climbed into bed and curled up on your toes.

Charlene Butterbean...doing more before 6 a.m. than most cats do all day.
ReplyDeleteCharlene is a pure beauty... I love what you do for those kitten, thanks for them!!!
ReplyDeleteBig hugs from France.
Bulledereve from France
Oh Charlene, what a naughty girl you are! But who could get mad at you? :-)
ReplyDeleteyeeeaaaassssss.
ReplyDeleteAnd you do it ALL so beautifully!
ReplyDeleteThanks for giving us a glimpse of your day and sharing all that love with the kittens. You are a precious being. And your family of Drewey and your "Two-Legs" are pretty awesome too!
Aww Charlene you are a lovely ladycat!
ReplyDeletesounds like my cats... i am ok with everything else but WHY, dear me WHY the ipod head phones. i have gone through about 6 pairs since getting these furballs last year!!
ReplyDeleteDear Beanie, I'm sending you the bill for my inhalers. My doc says I'm using far too many of them. I tried to explain it's because of you and your shenanigans, but he doesn't understand. Love, Wheezing with Laughter in Los Gatos
ReplyDeletemoooooommmm, I'm bored, we need more kittens, it is sooooooooooooo quiet around here without those Spooners:-(
ReplyDeletePoor Butterbean. Mommy makes you sound like you are very bad. But I know better. How can any kitty as pretty as you be so bad? We all know you really an angel kitty, aren't you?
ReplyDeleteAll is forgiven, Bean! :-D
ReplyDeleteHee hee! Oh, our fuzzies and the trouble they weave. :D
ReplyDeleteBut she didn't wake you up !! She's nice.
ReplyDeleteLaurie, those are beautiful pictures of a beautiful cat. I wish we got a play-by-play every day!
ReplyDeleteI'm not letting my cats read the post today.. they're trouble enough during the night without getting any ideas from the Bean. :) At least she doesn't yowl through the patio door at the cat from the house behind us when she makes an appearance in our yard at 3am.
ReplyDeleteSounds like what my Chloe would do at night as well, though she prefers to like my iPhone instead of the remote...
ReplyDeleteAnd the whole time, you were perfectly beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWell that sounds like a perfectly lovely evening. :D
ReplyDeleteHey, she took a bath before crawling into bed with you, what more can you ask for? :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a busy evening Charlene but you look so beautiful and well rested anyway :)
And then pretend she was there all night.....yes, we know, Charlene, we are owned by cats too!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures of The Bean. She has the good life. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteAww, what a beautiful Bean! My girl likes to lick my face all night if she feels she hasn't been fed enough before bed (like last night) so count your blessings that the Bean only licked the remote. Although the foot in the water glass is pretty icky. :)
ReplyDeleteExcellent post. This scratches my itch to learn more about the naughty Charlene I've been told about. I didn't believe it until now!!!
ReplyDeleteCharlene must have been voted "Miss Photogenic" by the other members of her senior class.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Charlene!! That's funny! I burst out laughing on her ordering from QVC...you never know what these kitties are up to when you are sleeping.
ReplyDeleteOy vey! After a prolonged absence from IBKC due to the preparations and finally a move, I come back to find a photo shoot with the ever lovely Bean.
ReplyDeleteDoes it get any better than that? I think not!
You make me happy, Charlene. You really do.
ReplyDeleteYou're so funny Charlene! But go easy on mom's credit card!!!
ReplyDelete"sounds like my cats... i am ok with everything else but WHY, dear me WHY the ipod head phones."
ReplyDeleteSERIOUSLY. One of mine went into my purse and took out my last pair, snipped the wires, and walked away. This was not the first pair this happened to. I've also been through 4 Nintendo DS chargers and a few cell chargers.
My goodness...she is such a pretty cat! Absolutley gorgeous!! I like how the ends of her fingers are white..they look like those finter-tip gloves.
ReplyDeleteDear Miss Bean,
ReplyDeleteAll Is Forgiven. Your tender care for all the ittybitties and your beauty of spirit (not to mention floof) makes up for whatever other activities you prefer!
Bless the Bean!
OK, yoo are my role model from now on! An' if yoo're not a member already, yoo shud join the NKC! (Norty kitty Club)
ReplyDeleteMilo xx
It's amazing what kitties get up too while we are not looking! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are perfectly adorable. Thank you for leaving the toothbrushes alone.
ReplyDeleteI've tried intensive psychotherapy, hypnosis, massive doses of pharmaceuticals, yoga, electroshock treatments, acupuncture, a pre-frontal lobotomy and meditation, but I still can't lick my Charlene Butterbean obsession. Girl rocks!
ReplyDeleteIt makes me feel better that lovely, dear Charlene does all of that (especially the water glass and the chewing). Sometimes I feel like my brood are delinquents. I forget that all kitties are delinquents.
ReplyDeleteAll in a day's work. Job well done, Miss Bean!
ReplyDelete"While you were sleeping, I stuck my paw in your bedside water glass. "
ReplyDeleteA HA HA HA !!!
I used to have a silly cat who would drink from my water glass if I was foolish enough to leave one out.
BEAN! don't hassle drewey.
ReplyDeleteYep, mine likes to play with his noisiest ball-in-track toy at 2 am, and then maybe pound on a closet door (making an excellent loud drum sound) at 4 am. Must be sharing telepathic communications with The Bean.
ReplyDeleteAnd we do not have glasses of liquid anywhere in the house. Water, scotch, grapefruit juice, doesn't matter - the toes must know.
Ohh Charlene - you have such class! and think of all the foster kitties you've passed your knowledge on to!
ReplyDeleteCharlene, your mom shares my kind of sense of humor. This post was priceless.

Ms. Charlene,
ReplyDeleteCan you please explain why kitties jut love the white iPod cords? Kiefer goes nuts for them, but he leaves all the other cords be. I think you just know that iPod cords are super expensive and do it for revenge. So what's the story...
