I bought this pink basket for Charlene when she was just a tiny tot. She slept in it for her first year, then outgrew it. Now, it belongs to the kittens.
Every single litter we've had has curled up in this basket. Oh, the memories it holds.
(and thank goodness it's machine washable)
Here's a little sampling of the cuteness this basket has contained.
best basket ever.

ReplyDeleteLove the halo around Rex! It was fun seeing so many basket pictures all together.
ReplyDeleteBOY is it a good thing the basket's machine washable. ALL THAT SWEETNESS would cause diabetes in a hot minnit otherwise! Thanks for the sugah high for today!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I visit this site I feel an irresistible urge to snuggle with my dog, since I have no kittens to snuggle.

ReplyDeleteAwesome kitteh basket is awesome. ^__^
ReplyDeleteThe backside shot of the Petitbones with their tails hanging over and down the side of the basket is my favorite. And who knew the Darlings were so teeny-tiny? Good thing I don't have to choose a favorite photo or family, I can just squee about all of them.
ReplyDeleteHoly kittens! Love all the photos. If I buy a basket, can I grow some lovely kittens like these? ;-)
ReplyDeleteCUTENESS OVERLOAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI've noted the basket from litter to litter and it has become even more special to know that it was Charlene's first. Thank you for all the lovely memories - including that of the most adorable Ms. Maddie Bouvier! What a great tortie! So happy she is now living in her forever home in my hometown! Nice to have that connection. (Hi Maddie and family!)
ReplyDeleteCLASSIC Maddie Bouvier head rotation. She still does that everyday! Webbthistle, hello! Maddie says thanks for the love and offers you a buddy bump.
ReplyDeleteIt's a magic basket.
The best basket ever!!! The pictures are so sweet!!!
ReplyDeleteOh man, I miss little Clovis man. He was so dang cute and tiny. And Hubie. He's in the shadow there, but I know it's him. Oh, and Rhoda! Her and Hubie were pals. Thank you for the memories, Laurie, looking at all these little muffins makes me so happy!
ReplyDeleteNo matter what kind of a day I'm having - good or bad - the latest batch of Itty Bittys (and of course the beautiful Ms. Bean) make my day brighter. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteThat's my baby (fka Alvie Pettibone) with his sister Renatta in pic #10...I'd recognise those rings anywhere! LOL
ReplyDeleteI love how the basket has contained so much love and gives so much comfort!

ReplyDeleteLaurie - yeah, what THEY said. All of them. It's true, I ALWAYS start my day here and receive a dose of warm tranquility and love. OK, here's a request (you've had 'em from me before): A SET OF CARDS WITH ALL THE BASKET PICTURES!! I would order it instantly - and (waving to all of us sitting here) I bet others would to! Bless you, Laurie, and Craig and all y'all. You're the best kind of Bright Spot.
ReplyDeleteI 2nd the request for a set of basket cards. That's truly a basketful of love! Thanks for making my day.

ReplyDeleteDoes Charleen wonder over to the basket wondering when the next batch will appear?
ReplyDeleteThat sequence of pictures are my favorites that you have posted!

ReplyDeleteLovle pics.. any with ms bean in the basket?
ReplyDeleteSince Fergus had this basket as a kitten, we had to buy a big one when we brought him home and it has been 10 times worth every penny paid. The big cats love to sleep in it too!
