Stop giving me that look, Bean. They'll be here soon I SWEAR! We're at the top of the list. Traci promised she'll call the SECOND they arrive. Sue's volunteering down at the HS today and is keeping a look out for them.
SOOOOOON we'll have kittens. SOOOOOOOOOOON.
They must be extra special ones and worth waiting for. Hang in there, Bean.
That eager look on Miz Bean's face. . . I swear it's on mine! I'll check back periodically all day, because more ittybitties is what my world needs today! Scritchies to dear Charlene!
ReplyDeleteMe too!! We run to the computer the moment we get home! Here's hoping today!
ReplyDeleteLove the look on The Bean's face!
ReplyDeleteBut, I have to say... it's almost awesome to not see kitties here! Charlene is fabulously entertaining in her pic, and no kitties is a good thing! Thanks for all the fun, floofy, frisky kitties!
Of course they'll be very special kittens. They'll be Bean(ie) Babies!
ReplyDeleteLaurie, I'm afraid the Bean doesn't look too convinced...
ReplyDeleteAs much as I miss kitten pictures, I'm so happy that there are NO homeless kittens right now!
ReplyDeleteIf Bean needs a playmate, she can borrow Orange Cat for the day! He'll keep her busy.
ReplyDeletePoor Charlene. This is when I think she'll feel the loss of Drewey. Even if they weren't close, they were room mates so to speak.
ReplyDeletePatience grasshopper...this is a GOOD thing!
ReplyDeleteand you're not fooling us Laurie. Aren't all litters extra special and worth waiting for? ;)
Such a noble, plush cat. At least she found some of her toy balls again. That should keep her occupied for about a half hour...;)
ReplyDeleteOhh that girl has got the grumps! Is it because there are no tabby boys to lick clean? is it because there is no babies to play with? Or is it because miss bean is having kitten food withdrawal? Time will tell...or until that glare peels the paint off the walls.
ReplyDeleteJust LOOK at the expression on Bean's face! She's so gorgeous. Poor, bored little Butterbean. I'm looking forward to new itty bitties, Laurie, but in the meantime bring on more pics of Charlene!
ReplyDeleteI am sure secretly Bean enjoys all the attention on her :-)
ReplyDeleteThis photo is reason number 1,030,003,0909,000 that I love the Bean.
ReplyDeleteShe can speak volumes with those eyes. And she does!
Ms Charlene Butterbean is such a beautiful and charismatic feline
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing these beautiful photographs of her.
Bean has perfected the guilty-inducing stare. That's the stare that makes this mama feel guilty every time I leave the house.
ReplyDeleteSue should be calling any second now, I can sense kittens in the air!
Big thanks to Bean for being here to give me my cute kitty fix while waiting for itty bitty kitties. I'm trying hard to remember that no kittens in the shelter is a good thing!
ReplyDeletedoes charlene like kisses between her ears? Because if i were to meet her, that's exactly where i'd go. She is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteChristine h
Bean looks very excited and she is hopeful the kittens will be there very soon!!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Becky, love the kitty pics but love the lack of homeless kittens better. I haven't seen any pregnant strays in my neighborhood yet this year(fingers crossed), still some raggedy Toms hanging out though. I want my superpower to be "Neuter Vision!". I could fix those feral kitties just by looking at them!
ReplyDeleteShe's fixing me with her Mesmer stare!
ReplyDeleteMaybe some kitten chow would ease the wait Charlene...
ReplyDeleteOkay... I was really busy with work today, but may I deconstruct this post?
ReplyDeleteThose eyes!
Those whiskers!
Her seriousness of purpose!
Oh Laurie, how I love The Bean!
Oh Jean - "Neuter Vision" that is priceless and an awesome superpower to wish for!
ReplyDeleteMiss Charlene - We loves you and want to see you happy and kittened....but just think how awesome if there were truly fewer kittens left unhomed because of "surprise" litters!
I am sending virtual chin rubs and ear skritches.

ReplyDeleteStalk, stalk, stalk the blog,
Closely through the day.
When will there be kittens next?
Are they on their way?
Charlene Butterbean
Has a floofy face
Still there's nothing like a kitten
Roaming round the place.
Wish, wish, wish for cats,
Tiny tails and paws.
Yes, there may be other pets
But none as loved as yours.
Stalk, stalk, stalk the blog,
Closely through the day.
When will there be kittens next?
Are they on their way?
*SHH* this delay in posting may mean there are
ReplyDeletenew itties arriving.
lets wait and see...
Hey Bean! Congrats about finding the toys under the dresser. I hope they'll keep you occupied until the new itty bitty kitties arrive.
ReplyDeleteAnd noonnnne yettt. . . 28 posts later! Scritchies for our favorite girl!
