Yay! Finally, we got another sunny afternoon so Craig and I took The Bean out on the deck to hang out enjoy the weather. She was super squirrelly. She rolled around and enjoyed the warmth. She chirped, and played, and poked her head and paws between the boards. She hung over the edge and watched Craig fuss with the plants below.
She was one happy Bean, and we had lots of fun watching her have fun.
She is just too cute for words! ox
ReplyDeleteAw, what a great treat to see as I had to come into work this morning.
ReplyDeleteAw, those are great pictures of her hanging off the edge. In the sunshine, you can really see the gorgeous colours in her coat. She looks very happy and content! :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute! Hanging around is always fun!
ReplyDeleteSo she doesn't trying to get down? It looks like only five feet or so down, it seems like she'd try to jump.
ReplyDeleteShe's allowed to come down (we're right there supervising). There are stairs, so there's no need to leap. She's pretty happy up there, though. As you all know,, cats like to be in high places. From the rail around the deck, you can see all sorts of interesting things.
ReplyDeleteI would be totally unable to resist playing with those hanging paws. The Bean is so pretty!

Hey lovely to see Beanie enjoying? Are the kittens allowed for supervised visits outside ever?
ReplyDeleteAwww she looks so great!!! You take the best pictures :)
ReplyDeleteAnon,,, Once or twice we've had a kitten on the deck, but besides that, no. They're not fully vaccinated, and I would never want to expose them to anything harmful.
ReplyDeleteJerry Lee Pickett was the only one who got a chance to feel grass between his toes while in our care. Here's the post documenting the day. If you weren't following the blog when we had The Picketts, I should warn you, it's a tear-jerker.

ReplyDeleteSighhhh..Bean looks so absolutely content. Nothing like a sunny day to bring the inner kitten out! Love that she is snoopervising Craig's gardening!
ReplyDeleteLucky summertime outside Bean! Her summer coat is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteIf Butterbean's happy, I'm happy, and from your description and photos, we're both VERY happy today. :)
ReplyDeleteI thought Benny Musselman once got to have a supervised outing too... That was one of my favorite posts.
ReplyDeleteShe just may be the most beautiful cat I have ever seen. Hugs, Deb =^..^=x5
ReplyDeleteAnon,, Benny got to come out on the deck,, but not beyond that.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet!
ReplyDeleteAwesome, beautiful Bean!
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous she got outside time!
I was inside attending class all day - except for lunch.
Love it when cats hang their paws over an edge like that.. utterly carefree. :)
ReplyDeleteShe is a little kid in a fur coat. She seems so personable.
ReplyDeleteI love that in all the shots, you can see her wonderful whiskers.
ReplyDeleteGood googely moogely these are wonderful pictures that capture the Bean's personality.
ReplyDeleteLaurie, you are such an excellent photographer!
She is so gorgeous!!! I love Charlene so much. Shes such a beauty!
ReplyDeleteOur Butterbean's joy is a tiny pebble in a clear pond....her delight and joy touch each of us and we feel some of it. (You do that for us every day, Laurie; take a bow!)

I love, love, love The Bean.
Oh yes, I too am a big fan of the dangling Bean paws. What lovely shots.
ReplyDeleteOh Gee, what a beautiful happy Bean, and what a sad story about Mr. Jerry Lee. You are a great kitty mom.
ReplyDeleteI love it when kitties splay their legs out like the first photo of the beautiful Bean. I read the sad story of Mr. Jerry Lee and oh what a sad story. I am trying to hold back the tears as I am at work on my lunch break and it won't do to look all puffy eyed there. Laurie you are an angel to all these kittens. Bless you for helping make the right decision for Mr. Jerry Lee. He felt your love before and after leaving this earth.
ReplyDeleteButterbean looks like she's having such a wonderful day!!
ReplyDeleteI too love the dangling paws :)
