Oh THERE you are!
Every once in awhile, I'll misplace a kitten. Normally, they nap in a pack, but sometimes one will slip away and find a little hidey-hole.
The other day, after a good fifteen minutes of looking for Clement, I found him tucked away in the closet, inside Craig's t-shirt drawer. It was open only crack, but it was JUST wide enough for Clement to wiggle his way inside.
After I fished Clement out, I discovered Ferris asleep inside the drawer. I didn't even realize he was missing!
It's hard keeping track of six kittens.

ReplyDeleteMy girls love to sleep in my dresser drawers or piles of dirty clothes waiting for the wash. If they are "missing", i always check the closet first.
Clement, you are just a feisty little boy, aren't you? You're super adorable, though!

ReplyDeleteThat is a great point about 6 - I have trouble with loosing one or too! The really interesting part is when they are still in their separation room (in our house that is my bedroom) and you can't find them for 10 - 15 minutes!

ReplyDeleteAnother place to look, BTW, if you ever misplace a kitten - top of any cupboards. My Sam used to get up on top of the ones over the fridge, and get so back into the corner you couldn't see her unless you were, say, 15-20 feet away.
