I know this is going to be upsetting to many, but it's THAT time again. The Anderson-Erickson's have all made weight, some have had surgery already, some will be going in tomorrow. Four out of six of the kittens have been spoken for and are leaving this week. Two kittens are still in search of their perfect family.
Charming little Clement and sweet Bernice are the two not yet spoken for. They are an amazing little duo, and I'm trying hard to adopt them out as a pair.
Both kittens are cuddly, curious and as dear as can be. Of course they have their mischievous side, but all kittens do. Clement's purr is loud enough to drown out the hum of the World Cup vuvuzelas. Bernice will gladly wrap around your neck, or perch on your shoulder to keep you company. Did I mention they are adorable? I guess that's clear to see.
If you are in need of a special pair, please send an email to kittywrangler@gmail.com and introduce yourself. If you know of anyone who might be on the hunt, please send them our way.
I know you'll be sad to say goodbye to the AEs. We are too. It seems you all have become particularly attached to this group.
The ones spoken for thus far are going to our friends, and friends of friends, so we'll be able to keep close tabs on them.
Just think,, this means there will be a new batch of babies to love very soon! There are plenty of kittens at the shelter right now, so I doubt there will be any sort of wait at all.
And don't forget,,, YOU will get to name them too! Just like last year, we'll be auctioning off the naming rights to the next batch.
OK folks,, please spread the word. Clement and Bernice's family is out there somewhere. Come on Universe, work your magic and send their family this way!
Oh not yet! I'm sad and happy at the same time. Sappy? Yeah, that's it.
ReplyDeleteGood luck to the A-E's in their new lives. We'll miss you! Keep in touch!
sniff...i ♥ Clement, and if i lived in the area, i'd adopt them, but sadly I dont. i sure will miss the little guys.
ReplyDeleteAnd remember, everyone, Bernice had a fishhook in her face as a baby. A FISHHOOK! It's a wonder she's with us. Who wouldn't want that little treasure?
ReplyDeleteNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! :-(
ReplyDeleteYESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! (more IBKCs) :-)
Meowy Hugs to these beautiful babies,
Robin
Upsetting? Heck no!!
ReplyDeleteSee. Four out of the six babies will be in their new forever homes shortly. And! Clement and Bernice are so special, they get to spend a little more time with Miss Bean et al until their forever folks find them.
How awesome is that?
And Laurie - I believe the Universe had their forever homes picked out for them even before they made it out of Momma kitty.
Oh my, Clement and Bernice have always stood out for me. Clement and his mischief and Bernice with that beautful "smile" that was almost permanently altered prior to her arrival at IBKC.
ReplyDeleteThere is someone lucky out there for this lovely pair. I'd sooo take them if I live nearby. :(
I'm shocked, just shocked that Clement hasn't been spoken for yet!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that the A-Es are getting their forever homes. I know that the perfect family is out there just waiting to adopt both Bernice and Clement. I will miss their antics, but I'm happy they are all going to good homes.
ReplyDeleteI really hope they get adopted together...
ReplyDeleteClement is my main man! He is not for the faint of heart as he scales mountains (curtains) and goes splunking (dives into dresser drawers)! I love Clement!!!
ReplyDeleteClement and Bernice are the two I would have chosen. And I live in Seattle. But...my current cat would not be pleased if two new kitties moved in. Maybe I can have a little talk with her...
ReplyDeleteI want them! If only my two would up and leave for kitty college...
ReplyDeleteName contest! Yay!
I just squealed at the cuteness...at work! :-p
ReplyDeleteSo happy 4 of the babies are on their way to their forever homes.
I know without a doubt that Bernice and Clement will find their forever homes very very very soon. In the meantime more kindergarten instruction from Miss Bean. :)
I'm sooooooo surprised its those two that are left still to be claimed. They would be my first choice!(but I'm delighted the other four have found their homes, of course!)
ReplyDeleteI wish I didn't live in Maryland! I'd scoop the two of them up in no time!
ReplyDeleteHow have they not found their perfect family yet?!?! They are adorable!! If only I was in the area, I would adopt them like that *snaps fingers*!!
ReplyDeleteIf I lived closer, I'd snatch up both these babes!
ReplyDeleteWho wouldn't want them? They are SO cute. I really hope they get to go as a couple.
ReplyDeleteHOW can Clement not have been claimed yet??? Since day one he's been my favorite!! I've been lamenting to myself since this group first came in that I'm in CA, because I've been drop-dead-in-love with Clement. And Bernice, with her one mitten and one opera glove!! AAWWW - sheer sweetness!
ReplyDeleteWow - I guess I'm just shocked that no one has snatched these two up!
On the other hand, hooray for the other 4! Fur-ever homes!!!!
Wow... it hardly seems like it's been long enough for them to be ready to move on, and won't they be disappointed to have to turn their fundraising duties over to other, inexperienced kittens?
ReplyDeleteStill, I'm sure they'll *all* do great in their new homes. Can't believe Clement and Bernice aren't spoken for yet (they'd be my first pick too!) but I think the universe has some particularly special person or persons in mind for them.
Aw, these two are my favourites! (Um, along with Ambrose, Ferris, Emory and Louise, of course.) But really, Clement's adorable grumpy post-bath photo stole my heart, as did Bernice's fish hook story. If I were anywhere nearby, I'd take them off your hands in a heartbeat, but I'm not even on the right continent.
ReplyDeleteSqueeeeeeeeeee! I just melted at Bernice's photo. If I lived close by and in a house, I would snap up these two. Good thing I don't as I would merrily be on my way to crazy cat lady what with all the adorable IBKC kittens.
ReplyDeleteNooooo! *tries to grab kitties and hide*
ReplyDeleteUgh! It is so unfaaaair that I live in Wisconsin and am too far away! I loves these two little beans so much! And my house has been awfully lonely without my darling Matthew...
ReplyDelete*siiiiiiiigh*
That must be an extremely loud purr!
ReplyDeleteMan, time flies. I could swear these guys just arrived. Oo, the family that gets these last two is going to be luckyyyyyyyyyyyyy ...
This has been my favorite group ever! Black and white kitties are my weakness. I have seriously considered begging to move in with you after some of these posts. I am so happy to see they are finding their forever homes. Please post some awesome retrospectives!
ReplyDeletefrom shy little kittens to curtain climbing scoundrels. Bean, you have worked your magic again (and Laurie and Craig) As with so many others, if only I lived closer... Good luck to all, looking forward to the next batch (with a tear for the ones moving one, as always.) (But Clem, still not chosen!!! ah, well, the right one isn't here yet... And Bernice, she needs him, take them both, please...)
ReplyDeleteI *wish* I could adopt them. I would adopt them as a pair, too. Sadly, I'm all the way in New York... living with a father with a cat allergy. Two obstacles. Sniff.
ReplyDeleteI must say, you and the Bean are brilliant! 5$ per paw? Gosh, you might bankrupt me! But I'm in.....
ReplyDelete(digs for change....)
My fingers are crossed for homes for all soon! I wish we lived closer...
ReplyDeleteUm, Laurie? Are there any houses on your street for sale?
ReplyDeleteI thought for sure Clement would be the first one to be picked. Such a star that boy! Good luck sweet babies.
ReplyDeleteooohhh noooo...Can't they stay till the dog-o-thon is over?!?!Well, very happy they found their forever home..I hope Clement and Bernice will find a home together very soon..They are really sweet babies..ohhh little devil Clement..You are such a sweetie sweetie pie..At least, Charlene will teach them more tricks to do!!!
ReplyDeleteBelieve me, if I lived anywhere nearby, I'd certainly consider it! However, I know that they will find their perfect forever family soon! :)
ReplyDeleteWish those dear little kittens all the love and luck in the world in their noo forever homes. And the 2 left ... not for long with those looks.
ReplyDeletePS: We just ADORE yoor IBKC graduate pics!
ReplyDeleteThank goodness!!!! Little Bernice has owned my heart since her first picture. Poor little fish-hook lip girl. And now she has her brother (and a mama) to protect her from bad things forever!!! It doesn't get any better than that!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you found homes for most of the kittens. I hope Clement and Bernice find their perfect homes, too. ^__^
